The undesirables are forced into a ghetto and are on the “dole.” For me it has a very negative connotation such as the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII.

That is what the conservatives want to force us out of our homes, to force us out of the state and we need sanctuaries but at the same I wonder what will happen if state legislatures ban sanctuary cities?

There are people who are leaving states like Florida and Texas because they do not want to raise their children in hostile environments. Their angst is not limited to transgender issues, but also the broad culture of non-acceptance. Unfortunately, minors cannot flee unless they are accompanied by their parents. Creating a ghetto or sanctuary is not the answer, but staying in non-accepting environment does not make sense either.
