Birds of a Feather, Flock Together

The clouds of hanging over Trump and the Epstein Files of sexual escapades make you wonder about Trump's connection with Andrew Tate.

Who?

The controversial British-American influencer Andrew Tate has left Romania, where he was charged with rape, human trafficking and forming an organised crime group to sexually exploit women.

He and his brother are believed to be on a private jet heading to the US, sources told the BBC.

Tate was put under house arrest in Romania in August 2024 when prosecutors launched a second criminal investigation against himself and his brother Tristan, as well as four other suspects. They all deny wrongdoing.

Separately, the brothers are wanted in the UK to face allegations of sexual assault which they also deny.

The brothers have also been accused of tax evasion in the UK. A British court ruled in December 2024 that police could seize more than £2m ($2.4m) from them for failing to pay tax on £21m in revenue from their online businesses.

Andrew Tate said the ruling was "not justice" and called it a "co-ordinated attack".
He is not a nice guy besides ProPublica reports that,
Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.

Online influencer Andrew Tate, a self-described misogynist who has millions of young male followers, was facing allegations of sex trafficking women in three countries when he and his brother left their home in Romania to visit the United States.

“The Tates will be free, Trump is the president. The good old days are back,” Tate posted on X before the trip in February — one of many times he has sung the president’s praises to his fans.

But when the Tate brothers arrived by private plane in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, they immediately found themselves in the crosshairs of law enforcement once more, as Customs and Border Protection officials seized their electronic devices.

This time, they had a powerful ally come to their aid. Behind the scenes, the White House intervened on their behalf.
Why did Trump step in? Is it because Tate knows things about Trump?
The incident is the latest in a string of law enforcement matters where the Trump White House has inserted itself to help friends and target foes. Since entering office for a second term, Trump has urged the Justice Department to go after elected officials who investigated him and his businesses, and he pardoned a string of political allies. Andrew Tate is one of the most prominent members of the so-called manosphere, a collection of influencers, podcasters and content creators who helped deliver young male voters to Trump. And news of the White House intervention on behalf of the accused sex traffickers comes as Trump is under fire over his ties to notorious child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his administration’s recent efforts to stop the public release of the so-called Epstein files.
While Newsweek reported...
U.S. officials initially broached the subject during a phone call with the Romanian government, advocating for the return of the Tates' passports and permission for them to travel while awaiting court proceedings, the FT reported.

This diplomatic effort was further amplified when Richard Grenell, President Donald Trump's U.S. envoy for special missions, met with Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu at the Munich Security Conference last week.
It seems like they are all running in the same circles... those who are sexual predators. USA Today said...
Ingrassia, who at the time was working as a White House liaison to the Department of Homeland Security, is alleged to have "chided" investigators for seizing the Tates’ property when they entered the United States last year. That request, Ingrassia claimed, came directly from the White House, according to the report.
You have to wonder why is Trump coming to his defense?  And this is all happening while Trump's Secretary of Defense is under investigation for war crimes!

A Woman's Place Is In The Kitchen, Barefoot and Pregnant!

The Secretary of Defense thinks women should not vote... they are too emotional!
Progressive evangelical group says ideas shared by pastors and amplified by defense secretary are ‘very disturbing

The US defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, recently shared a video in which several pastors say women should no longer be allowed to vote, prompting one progressive evangelical organization to express concern.

Hegseth reposted a CNN segment on X on Thursday that focuses on pastor Doug Wilson, a Christian nationalist who co-founded the Idaho-based Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC), In the segment, he raises the idea of women not voting.

“I would like to see this nation being a Christian nation, and I would like this world to be a Christian world,” Wilson said.

Another pastor interview by CNN for its segment, Toby Sumpter, said: “In my ideal society, we would vote as households. I would ordinarily be the one to cast the vote, but I would cast the vote having discussed it with my household.”
You wonder why the Secretary is kicking women out of combat because it is against his religion!

Pete Hegseth defended himself against accusations of sexual assault, alcohol abuse and mismanagement on Tuesday and vowed to “restore the warrior ethos” to the Pentagon as he tried to convince senators of his fitness to serve as President-elect Donald Trump’s defense secretary.

Hegseth, a 44-year-old Army National Guard veteran and former Fox News host, faced a divided Senate Armed Services Committee, with Republicans praising him as a fresh face that will shake up Pentagon bureaucracy and Democrats denouncing him as woefully unqualified to lead an agency with a nearly $900 billion budget and 3 million employees.

“Admittedly, this nomination is unconventional, the nominee is unconventional,” said Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., the chairman of the panel. “That may be what makes Mr. Hegseth an excellent choice.”

Casting himself as a “change agent,” Hegseth said it was time to give someone from an atypical background, “with dust on his boots,” a chance at the top Pentagon job. He dismissed the accusations against him as a “coordinated smear campaign” by the media. “I’m not a perfect person but redemption is real,” he said. “God forged me in ways that I know I’m prepared for.”
But his views on women in the military?
Later in the video, Wilson says he does not believe women should hold leadership positions in the military or be able to fill high-profile combat roles.

A statement from Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell on Saturday said Hegseth “is a proud member of a church affiliated with” the CREC.

“The secretary very much appreciates many of Mr Wilson’s writings and teachings.”

Hegseth and his family were in attendance at the Wilson church’s inaugural service in Washington in July, according to CNN.
I am always amazed that Christians lie under oath! They swear to uphold the Constitution but they put their religion before their oath to obey the Constitution... it is like they have a little "asterisk" saying only if it doesn't I don't like it and I can say it is "against my religion.
Democratic women on the committee took sharp aim at Hegseth for his previous remarks on women, who he has said should not serve in certain combat roles and are less effective in those roles than men.

[...]

“You will have to change how you see women to do this job well, and I don’t know if you are capable of that,” she said. Hegseth denied he ever disparaged women and said his concern was with what he believes are slipping standards and gender quotas. He said he would conduct a review of the requirements for combat positions if confirmed.
His views on women would send us back tot he 1950s!
Hegseth’s ties to a Christian nationalist movement that rejects women’s suffrage expose how extremist views are fueling real policies aimed at undermining women’s political power.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth retweeted a CNN interview last week with Christian nationalist pastors from the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches (CREC), in which they argued that women should not be able to vote. In the interview, church co-founder Doug Wilson reduces women to “the kind of people that people come out of” and sneers that “it doesn’t take any talent to simply reproduce.” Other CREC pastors in the video argue that families should cast a single vote—decided by the man.

It took nearly a week, and much public criticism, for a spokesperson for Hegseth to clarify that “of course” he supports women’s right to vote. That’s too little, too late.

This was no fringe rant from the manosphere. CREC has more than 130 affiliate churches around the globe, and Hegseth is a member of a CREC-affiliated church in Tennessee. He recently attended the first service at Christ Church, D.C., the newest church in the network.

CREC’s doctrine is clear: It teaches that wives should submit to their husbands and allows male church members to cast church votes for the whole household. Wilson says that adopting the 19th Amendment—which granted women the right to vote—was a “bad idea.”

[...]

We can’t treat Hegseth’s embrace of Doug Wilson and CREC as harmless or a fringe curiosity. Every time these ideas go unchallenged, they become a little more mainstream, and the distance between talk and policy shrinks. That’s why we need to call it out—loudly, clearly and often. If we stay silent, anti-women policies like the SAVE Act will keep moving forward until they’ve erased decades of progress.

Another Dangerous Wacko

Where do the Republicans dig these people up from… now a misogynist is being appointed to the Board of Directors for the University of West Florida!
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Scott Yenor, a political science professor at Boise State University, to sit on the board of trustees the University of West Florida, a public state university.

All roads in Florida these days lead to blaming diversity, equity and inclusion for society’s ills.

It’s all about extending a hand up to we beleaguered white men, the real victims of discrimination, who have suffered mightily by failing to return Black people, women and LGBTQ+ folks back to the days of Ozzie and Harriet.

Thank you, Gov. Ron DeSantis, for feeling our pain. We white guys shall overcome DEI with your much-needed help.

Most recently, brother DeSantis reached out all the way to Idaho to find a white guy with the proper views on how women are ruining higher education and turning us men into what he calls “soy boys.”
And he is a humdinger… right along the line of Republican misogyny…
Yenor frequently mouths off from his perch at the Claremont Institute, a right-wing think tank in California, where he has written fondly of DeSantis for fighting “cancerous DEI programs” in public universities.

“Florida’s university system was beginning to rot from DEI sickness. Governor DeSantis has targeted the blight and occupied the moral high ground in defense of the American university,” Yenor wrote in a Claremont Institute piece entitled “Making Woke-ism Die.”
But it even gets crazier! Who does he blame for all of this “Woke”? Why women, who else they should home cleaning house and making babies!
Yenor goes as far as calling colleges and universities “the citadels of our gynecocracy” that further the “personal and political evils that flow from feminism.”

He describes highly educated women as “more medicated, meddlesome and quarrelsome than women need to be.”

And that by not encouraging women to seek marriage, childbirth and homemaking, we are ruining our country and robbing educational opportunities that need to be available for our cherished men.
Gee for once we are not to be blamed! AP News writes,
A professor at Boise State University, Yenor has written extensively on what he sees as the dangers of diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in higher education as well as the declines of traditional marriage and birth rates in the U.S. He’s also a former fellow at The Heritage Foundation, which proposed Project 2025 as a policy blueprint for a hard-right turn in American government and society.
We heard of Project 2025 before… and it is a road map to a White Christian Nation!
Speaking at the National Conservatism Conference in 2021, Yenor detailed what he sees as the “evils” of feminism, labeled “independent women” as “medicated, meddlesome and quarrelsome” and decried colleges and universities as “the citadels of our gynecocracy” — a form of government run by women.

“If we want a great nation, we should be preparing young women to become mothers,” Yenor said, “not finding every reason for young women to delay motherhood until they are established in a career or sufficiently independent.”
So now he is on the Board of Directors of a university.
“An education system shapes the culture. Our current education system, with its divisive DEI policies and ideological monoculture, has produced an ever-worse culture,” Yenor told the AP in an email, saying Florida’s education system is better off because of DeSantis’ policies.
Translation. We want to be able to discriminate and put the uppity Blacks in their place, force LGBTQ+ back in the closet, and put women back in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant.
In articles and speeches, Yenor has labeled DEI as a “grave and gathering danger to national unity and state governance,” called for eliminating certain disciplines like African Diaspora Studies and said even departments of History and English could be on the chopping block. He’s also advocated for sex-segregated education and called for banning state employees from collecting data on the basis of race or sex.
Welcome to the new reality! Where the Jim Crow laws are bac, Title VII and Title IX have been torn up and the Fourteenth Amendment is ignored.
