“Today’s capstone hearing of President Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission contained more powerful testimony and discussion about how people of religion are under assault by the secular left," said Chairman Dan Patrick. "It is time to set the record straight: there is no such thing as ‘separation of church and state’ in the Constitution. For too long, the anti-God left has used this phrase to suppress people of religion in our country. During all 7 Commission hearings, witness after witness testified that the so-called ‘separation of church and state’ was used to take their God-given religious liberty rights away. Next month, the Commission will deliver our recommendations to President Trump to ensure that Americans’ religious liberty is safeguarded against evil forces seeking to suppress them in our country.” 

You know that this is really scary coming from an administration that has been characterized as pushing for a Christian Nation! Look at the wording in that press release! "people of religion are under assault by the secular left"the anti-God left" tell me that isn't biased?

 The leader of President Donald Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission said that church and state separation is a falsehood at the group’s final meeting, drawing criticism from an advocacy group that supports it.

At a Monday (April 13) hearing at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, a Republican and the chair of the commission, asked, “Would it not be a good recommendation that every school, every university, every business, has to have that one sheet on the bulletin board about protecting people’s religious liberty, and that the separation of church and state is the biggest lie that’s been told in America since our founding?”

 “Church-state separation ensures we are all free to live as ourselves and believe as we choose, as long as we don’t harm others,” Laser said in a statement issued Monday. “It allows us all to come together as equals to build a stronger democracy. It is an American original, something we should be proud of, fight for, and cherish.”

They want to hang the Ten Commandments in the classrooms!

 In February, Americans United joined Democracy Forward in filing a lawsuit against the commission, challenging its composition that included one non-Christian and stating that its “Christian members do not represent the full diversity of the Christian faith.” The suit was filed on behalf of interfaith, Muslim, Sikh and Hindu organizations. Americans United and Democracy Forward have since sought a preliminary injunction to prevent the publication of a commission report while their case is considered by a federal district court.

Trump would never do anything like packing the commission with Christian Nationalists? While the Baptist News reported...

The lawsuit, Interfaith Alliance, et al. v. Trump, et al., was filed by Democracy Forward and Americans United for Separation of Church and State on behalf of Interfaith Alliance, Muslims for Progressive Values, Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and Hindus for Human Rights.

The coalition claims Trump’s commission violates the Federal Advisory Committee Act and offers unbalanced and biased viewpoints. The coalition wants the court to order the Commission to comply with FACA’s transparency requirements by publishing documents regarding the committee’s proceedings.

 This is the second such case brought against the Religious Liberty Commission by the same coalition.

Rev. Paul Brandeis Raushenbush v. Donald Trump was filed in federal district court in New York in February, seeking a declaration the board was unlawfully founded and constituted and to require any documents and recommendations it produces to be made public.

 “However, these lofty ideals were swiftly disregarded and proved to be shambolic,” the suit states. “President Trump and Attorney General Bondi — who is generally tasked with performing the functions of the president for the Commission — appointed to the commission only extremist individuals who believe that America is, and should be, a ‘Judeo-Christian’ nation, advocate for government-endorsed religion, and have a history of discriminating against disfavored groups.

“And despite the Commission’s stated goal of celebrating religious diversity and religious pluralism, no member of the Commission represents a minority religion (other than one Orthodox Jewish member) and no member represents an interfaith perspective. On top of selecting a skewed and biased membership, the Commission has refused to release agendas, meeting minutes, transcripts and other Commission materials.”

USA Today writes,

 Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, the commission's chairman, at one point called it the “biggest lie that’s been told in America since our founding.” 

Patrick's statement echoed comments made in previous Religious Liberty Commission hearings and by the Trump administration more broadly that suggest the government can and should promote religion as a public good without violating the First Amendment, which says “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”

You know how the Republican's courts are always harping on "Originalists" in the Constitution well how original is this...

 President Thomas Jefferson popularized the phrase “separation between church and state” in the early 19th century, but it does not appear in the Constitution. Over the centuries, courts and scholars have debated where the line should be drawn as it relates to the government and religion.

Speaker Mike Johnson canceled a vote scheduled for Wednesday evening on a clean reauthorization of a key spy power amid a hard-liner rebellion — a blow to President Donald Trump whose senior administration officials throughout the day tried to seal the deal ahead of the program’s expiration in five days.

Leaving the Capitol Wednesday night, Johnson said he believed negotiators needed “a few more hours” to wrap up discussions on proposed changes, and that the process could get back on track Thursday. “We’re working through some final details,” he added.

The provision would require the government to obtain a warrant for “U.S. person queries” under Section 702, once there is probable cause that the individual is an agent of a foreign power or has committed a crime. While it would codify components of current surveillance law, it also would serve as a compromise by putting some restraints around many of the routine, warrantless surveillance practices now acceptable under existing statute.

But White House officials are still trying to rein in the scope of this proposal even further given Trump’s demand for no policy changes or new guardrails on the government’s use of the spy powers authority.

So the "problem" is the White House doesn't want to have to get warrants to search through your phone and email records... They want to use computer to search databases for "un-American" actives... Of course Trump & Company gets to decide what is and isn't "un-American" actives. Trans forums? Un-American!

Intelligence Chair Rick Crawford (R-Ark.) said in a brief interview Wednesday evening that there was still a lot of conversation around warrants and potential reforms. When asked about the Higgins amendment [Requires that they obtain a warrant for “U.S. person queries”] in particular, Crawford said leadership has to consider the number of people they will gain on a final vote versus lose with any changes.

The that is too much to ask for according to Trump!

U.S. military leaders have long understood the power and perils of invoking faith — especially in wartime.

Facing the Germans in World War II, Gen. George Patton ordered a chaplain to write an interfaith prayer for troops to say on the battlefield.

It took just a week in September 2001 for Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld to change the name of the campaign against terrorism from Operation Infinite Justice to Operation Enduring Freedom — a switch meant to clarify that the U.S. was not in a religious war.

But those longtime norms are being upended by the proselytizing Christian campaign of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, say multiple former high-ranking military officials and experts on religion and law. Rather than boosting cohesion through a more universal spiritual uplift, they say, the new approach violates the Constitution and undermines the bonds of mutual respect between troops that are essential, especially in wartime.

Hegseth lives in a dream world Walter Mitty and that is very, very scary! He imagines himself in armor on a white horse with a Crusader's flag!

“The American military has had a remarkable ride of equanimity and fairness and justice and all manner of good adjectives with regard to religion. It’s done this in a way that’s really remarkable — until now,” said retired Army Col. Larry Wilkerson, who served as chief of staff to Colin Powell when he was secretary of state and then was chair of the Joint Chiefs. Hegseth’s actions, Wilkerson said, “are totally violative of everything that transpired before it. This has come on us in a very quick fashion.”

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Randy Manner, who was second-in-command at the National Guard from 2011 to 2012, has worked in recent years to train hundreds of interfaith military chaplains. Manner said he has talked with “dozens and dozens” of active-duty chaplains in recent weeks who say those who don’t identify with Hegseth “are being marginalized.” They feel they can’t voice their concerns to their own superiors, he said, and feel their work as the primary advocate for troops’ spiritual, mental and moral health is being threatened.

“I’ve had people tell me they’re not included in staff meetings,” Manner said.

He sees the war as a "Just" war to bring the true faith to the infidels!   

At Pentagon Christian service, Hegseth prays for violence ‘against those who deserve no mercy’

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, hosting his first monthly Christian worship service at the Pentagon since the Iran war began, prayed Wednesday to have “every round find its mark.”

“Every month it is fitting to be right here,” he told the gathered civilian employees and uniformed military personnel. “All the more fitting this month, at this moment, given what tens of thousands of Americans are doing right now.”

He read a prayer he said was first given by a military chaplain to the troops who captured then-President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela.

“Let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation,” Hegseth prayed during the livestreamed service. “Give them wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity, and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy.”

He is on the road to war crimes!

During the expanding Iran war and global conflicts, Hegseth’s Christian rhetoric has drawn renewed scrutiny, including his past defense of the Crusades, the brutal medieval wars that pitted Christians against Muslims.

Statements of faith are common in American public life, across political parties and religious traditions. Pentagon aides and Hegseth’s defenders pull examples from history, such as President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s support of giving Bibles to troops. Hegseth regularly cites George Washington, who pushed to establish the military chaplain corps.

Hegseth often goes beyond standard calls for God to bless the country or its troops. Last week, he asked Americans to pray for service members “in the name of Jesus Christ.” On Wednesday, he again prayed in Jesus’ name.

We are floundering we are on the road to disaster!  The Washington Post goes on to write,

Americans United earlier this week sued the Defense Department for not turning over public records requests about the Hegseth-led Christian prayer services at the Pentagon. In a release, it said Hegseth is abusing his position and taxpayer funds to impose his preferred religion.

“Even if these prayer services are presented as voluntary, there is pressure on federal employees to attend in order to appease their bosses — especially since these services occur amidst the Trump administration’s campaign to punish anyone who doesn’t comply with its Christian Nationalist agenda,” AU wrote.

Hegseth’s change comes as the Supreme Court has in recent years weakened church-state separation and supercharged the free exercise of religion. Among the concepts the justices are reexamining are what constitutes religious coercion and an illegal government “establishment” of religion.

Couple an military with a Christian Nationalist and we have a problem! A question arises, is Hegseth promoting generals with his religious views and firing those who don't?

“I think the morale is very high, because we don’t have admirals in dresses, who aren’t supposed to be wearing dresses. Pete’s emphasis on lethality and warrior readiness is, for the average sailor or marine — that’s just the jam,” Wilson said. “People feel like someone is running this department who wakes up in the morning knowing what he thinks.”

Scouting America, the Texas-based national organization founded as the Boy Scouts of America, is working to shed claims it has gone "woke" in recent years as it renews its focus on training young people with life skills, providing fun and educational outdoor experiences and revitalizing its partnership with the U.S. military.

Since its inception by Lt. Gen. Robert Baden-Powell in February 1910, what is now Scouting America has remained dedicated to providing the key life tenets of faith, character and service to young people, as in one example it eliminated an otherwise recently conceived "DEI" merit badge and replaced it with a military-centric one.

Chief Scout Executive Roger Krone told Fox News Digital that scouts have been central to key moments in history, a testament to the program’s values, importance and longevity.

Boy does that sound like they want to make it into a para-military organization?

Business Insider wrote,

Merit badges that "mask" DEI "activism" have been "discontinued," he said, and a new military service badge will be added, in partnership with the Pentagon.

So they are even going to have a merit badge like the Hitler Youth Proficiency Badge of the 1930s and 40s!

Beginning in 2012, "the Boy Scouts lost their way," Hegseth said in the Friday post. "A once great organization became gravely wounded. Diversity, equity and inclusion, DEI, crept in. The name was changed to 'Scouting America.' Girls were accepted. The focus on God as the ruler of the universe was watered down to include openness to humanism and Earth centered pagan religions."

STOP RIGHT THERE! "...The focus on God as the ruler of the universe..." Does this sound like "grooming" to you? Do this sound like Hegseth wants to turn it into a para-military Christian Nationalist organization?

Even the naming of military actions under this mindset feels apocalyptic—like the strike on Iran, ominously dubbed "Operation Epic Fury." Hegseth didn’t just stumble into the job; he has exactly what Trump wants to appeal to his Christian Nationalist base. Hegseth’s warped worldview is that of a deeply-held theological and political fanatic who views conflict as a moral and religious necessity. To his supporters, he’s a "defender of the faith"; to his critics, he is someone looking for a "battle" that feels like a holy war.

Hegseth isn't just someone who stumbled into the job; he has a very specific, deeply-held theological and political worldview that views conflict as a moral and religious necessity. That's exactly what Trump wanted, to his supporters, he's a "defender of the faith"; to his critics, he’s exactly what you described—someone looking for a "battle" that feels like a holy war.

However, what is getting people's attention is what he said about the rules of combat... The Guardian reported that in his book he said,

Pete Hegseth, the US defense secretary, told soldiers under his command in Iraq to ignore legal advice about when they were permitted to kill enemy combatants under their rules of engagement.

The anecdote is contained in a book Hegseth wrote last year in which he also repeatedly railed against the constraints placed on “American warfighters” by the laws of war and the Geneva conventions.

Hegseth is currently under scrutiny for a 2 September attack on a boat purportedly carrying drugs in the Caribbean, where survivors of a first strike on the vessel were reportedly killed in a second strike following a verbal order from Hegseth to “kill everybody”.

Hegseth has denied giving the order and retained the support of Donald Trump. The US president said Hegseth told him “he did not say that, and I believe him, 100%”. But some US senators have raised the possibility that the US war secretary committed a war crime.

At one point, Hegseth writes: “We send men to fight on our behalf, and then second-guess the manner in which they fight. I saw it every day.”

Hegseth adds: “In some cases, our units were so boxed in by rules and regulations and political correctness, we even second-guess ourselves. That needs to end. Count me out on the Monday-morning quarterbacking – I’m with the American warfighter, all the way.”

Elsewhere, Hegseth appears to argue that American soldiers should proceed without any constraints whatsoever.

And now in beginning of this war what was said has raised eyebrow, Military.com writes,

“He urged us to tell our troops that this was ‘all part of God’s divine plan’ and he specifically referenced numerous citations out of the Book of Revelation referring to Armageddon and the imminent return of Jesus Christ,” the NCO wrote in the email. “He said that ‘President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.’"

The NCO added that the commander supposedly “had a big grin on his face when he said all of this, which made his message seem even more crazy.”

This whole invasion mission stinks to high heaven! It almost seems like they want to bring on WWIII for the glory of god!

Commanders Accused of Framing Iran War as Biblical Mandate, Jesus' 'Return'

An organization that has been fighting against religious extremism in the United States military for two decades has reported more than 200 new complaints since Saturday’s initial strikes against Iran, with members across all services claiming that high-ranking officers are tying the mission overseas to fulfilling a Christian prophecy.

A combat-unit commander told non-commissioned officers at a briefing Monday that the Iran war is part of God’s plan and that President Donald Trump was “anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth,” according to independent journalist Jonathan Larsen as published on Substack.

That complaint was made by a non-commissioned officer and provided to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF), which from Saturday morning through Monday evening received and logged more than 110 complaints about commanders in every branch of the military.

I don’t know about you, but I find it disturbing that military commanders are relating the war to the end of the world.

The Baptist News reported that,

U.S. military personnel are being briefed by superiors that ongoing combat operations in Iran are willed by God and will help usher in the end times, according to independent journalist Jonathan Larsen.

In one instance, the commander of a combat unit told noncommissioned officers “that the Iran war is part of God’s plan and that Pres. Donald Trump was ‘anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth,’ according to a complaint by a noncommissioned officer,” Larsen reported on his Substack.

The report draws on similar complaints to the Military Religious Freedom Foundation from personnel in more than 40 units located in at least 30 installations. The complaints have been coming in since the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran Feb. 28.

I worry that this could lead toward a coup attempt if Trump were ever impeached. Having an army that believes Trump was appointed by God is downright scary.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has made no secret of his adherence to a nationalist and militaristic form of Christianity. He has established prayer meetings within the Pentagon and recently claimed Americans go to heaven if they die in combat.

“These calls have one damn thing in freaking common: Our MRFF clients (service members who seek MRFF aid) report the unrestricted euphoria of their commanders and command chains as to how this new ‘biblically-sanctioned’ war is clearly the undeniable sign of the expeditious approach of the fundamentalist Christian ‘end times’ as vividly described in the New Testament book of Revelation,” Weinstein said.

Larsen wrote: “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has enshrined evangelical Christianity at the uppermost levels of the U.S. military, airing monthly prayer meetings throughout the Pentagon. Last year, the Pentagon confirmed to me that Hegseth attends a weekly White House Bible study. It’s led by a preacher who says God commands America to support Israel.”

Are you worried yet? And this was written by a Baptist newspaper.

They want war. They want to bring about the end of the world. And these people have the nuclear codes.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth makes no secret of the fact that he sees himself as a crusader leading the battle toward Armageddon and the return of Jesus. I fear he wants to turn the United States into a Christian version of Iran.

Does that cross on Hegseth’s chest look familiar? It is the Crusader’s Cross (also known as the Jerusalem Cross), the one that knights wore into battle against the “infidels.” He also reportedly has “Deus Vult” tattooed on his arm — “God wills it,” the battle cry of the First Crusade in 1095.

He wrote a book literally called American Crusade, calling for a modern-day holy war against Muslims. He also got a new tattoo reading “كافر” (kafir) in Arabic — a deliberate provocation against 2 billion Muslims from the man commanding the most powerful military on Earth. He is the embodiment of the American Taliban.

Hegseth Wants Basic to Go Old School. What Policies Must Change First?

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth wants the military services to return to old-school discipline at basic training—with instructors “tossing bunks” and “putting their hands on recruits.” But first the services will have to rewrite the policies governing training instructors, which disallowed such practices over the past few decades.

Hegseth’s drive to “restore warrior ethos” across the U.S. military includes rewinding the clock on the kindler, gentler approaches that began in the 1990s and dialed back hardcore discipline in the years that followed. At an unprecedented all-call for general officers Sept. 30, Hegseth told hundreds of senior military leaders that the cultural changes he envisions must begin at Basic Military Training.

“We’re empowering drill sergeants to instill healthy fear in new recruits, ensuring that future warfighters are forged,” he said. “They can toss bunks, they can swear, and yes, they can put their hands on recruits. This does not mean they can be reckless or violate the law, but they can use tried and true methods to motivate new recruits, to make them the warriors they need to be.”

I think he has this vision of a White Christian Army defending the CHURCH! Kind of like the Crusaders.

Return to Old School

Hegseth told the generals he has two basic tests for whether policies should be reviewed: “The 1990 test and the E-6 test.” The first is simple, he said. “What were the military standards in 1990? And if they have changed, tell me why: Was it a necessary change based on the evolving landscape of combat, or was the change due to a softening, weakening, or gender-based pursuit of other priorities?” Hegseth, who was 10 years old in 1990, said “1990 seems to be as good a place to start as any.”

Steve Sargent, a retired Air Force command chief whose service spanned from 1979 to 2009, recalled that in his time as a military training instructor from 1981 to 1984 that he tossed his share of bunks, which he called “white tornados.” The aim was to teach trainees attention to detail, he said.

“We would go in and basically rip the dorm apart, empty the wall lockers, flip the bunks if there was just a minor infraction, like shoe alignment,” Sargent said in an interview. “It was all about enforcing the standards.”

The man who oversees the nation’s military reposted a video about a Christian nationalist church that included various pastors saying women should no longer be allowed to vote.

The extraordinary repost on X from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, made Thursday night, illustrates his deep and personal connection to a Christian nationalist pastor with extreme views on the role of religion and women.

In the post, Hegseth commented on an almost seven-minute-long report by CNN examining Doug Wilson, cofounder of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches, or CREC. The report featured a pastor from Wilson’s church advocating the repeal of women’s right to vote from the Constitution, and another pastor saying that in his ideal world, people would vote as households. It also featured a female congregant saying that she submits to her husband.

Hey folks... these are the type of people backing Trump & Company

“I’d like to see the nation be a Christian nation, and I’d like to see the world be a Christian world,” Wilson said in the CNN report.

On Monday, June 23, Christian nationalist transportation secretary Sean Duffy delivered the commencement address to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy’s class of 2025, disgracefully proclaiming, among other revoltingly un-American things, that only religious sailors can be good sailors.

Think about this... Trump's administration have been systematically military officers with White Christian Nationalist, he has been replacing cabinet level people with White Christian Nationalist, he has been replacing judges with White Christian Nationalist judges. Is anyone else worried about a coup?

They say that the bill targets Republicans... but DUH have you ever seen a "anti-abortion" protest an abortion clinic? Two... they were convicted by a jury of twelve people, it was like the Democrats just threw them in jail without a trail,

President Donald Trump, we are told, is endorsed by God.

“Father, when Donald Trump’s enemies thought he was down and out, You, and You alone, saved his life and raised him up with strength and power by Your mighty hand, ”said the Reverend Franklin Graham during his invocation at Trump’s inauguration last week. “Mr. President,” Graham addressed Trump, “the last four years, there are times, I’m sure, you thought, it was pretty dark. But look what God has done.”

Graham’s MAGA God might be unrecognisable to tens of millions of Americans, but anew poll released today by the nonpartisan Public Religion Research Institute shows that two thirds (67 per cent) of Christian nationalists either completely or mostly agree that God ordained Trump to be the winner of the 2024 election.

In a survey of more than 22,000 adults, PRRI found that Christian nationalism is deeply embedded in the GOP, with a majority of Republicans qualifying as either Christian nationalist adherents (20 per cent) or sympathisers (33 per cent). That means they agreed with statements provided by PRRI such as, “being Christian is an important part of being truly American,” “God has called Christians to exercise dominion over all are as of American society,” and “if the US moves away from our Christian foundations, we will not have a country anymore.” The more Christian nationalists reside in a state, the greater the share of Trump voters.

This just goes to show you how off the deep end these far-right evangelicals are, they think Trump walks on water. Now this is the scary part…

They are also among Trump’s most fanatical supporters. Christian nationalists were prominent among the violent mob that attacked the US Capitol on Jan. 6, mounting crosses along with a gallows. Proud Boys stopped and prayed before their assault, asking God to restore their “value systems” and seeking heavenly sanction for their impending attack on the seat of democracy. Some Christian nationalists think a bit of vigilantism may be necessary to secure godliness; nearly 4 in 10 agree that “because things have gotten so far off track, true American patriots may need to resort to violence in order to save our country.”

In return for such passion, Trump has delivered political goods. He pardoned all of the Jan. 6 insurrectionists, including those who assaulted police. He installed a former Fox News host with Christian nationalist tattoos as the leader of the Department of Defense. Trump nominated Russell Vought, who said Republicans should focus less on religious liberty and more on “Christian nationalism,” as the head of the powerful White House Office of Management and Budget.

Not only did Trump appoint loyal followers but they are also “Christian Nationalist” fanatics who believe they are warriors to god!

We always knew that Trump’s return to the White House would bring Christian nationalism to the highest levels of government.

There’s Russell Vought, an avowed Christian nationalist and an author of Project 2025, who is Trump’s pick to lead the Office of Management and Budget—which leads the implementation of the president’s policies, regulations, and funding decisions across the federal government, as my colleague Isabela Dias has written. And there was the pair of Christian podcasters who, at a rally the night before Trump’s inauguration, thanked God for “choosing President Donald Trump as a vessel for your nation,” as my colleague David Corn covered.

The signs, in other words, have been there for a while.

But at the National Prayer Breakfast—a decades-old, purportedly interfaith annual event—in DC on Thursday, President Trump laid out the steps he will take, now that he’s in office, to make those dreams of Christian nationalist power a reality. “We want to bring religion back—stronger, bigger, better than ever before,” he said. These measures will allegedly include:

• Creating a so-called Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty, which he so eloquently claimed will “be a very big deal”;
• Signing an executive order ordering newly-confirmed Attorney General Pam Bondi to “eradicate anti-Christian bias” inside the federal government and “prosecute anti-Christian violence and vandalism in our society”;
• And creating a new Faith Office in the White House, which will be led by the televangelist and Trump acolyte Rev. Paula White—who, as my colleagues Stephanie Mencimer and Kiera Butler have written, is often associated with an evangelical Christian movement known as the New Apostolic Reformation, whose leaders claim that God speaks directly to them and “that Christians are called to wage a spiritual battle for control of the United States.”

Hey? Remember Musk's Nazis salute? Does that fit in with the White Christian Nationalist's theme at the inauguration?  Are you scared yet?

Now does it make sense, Trump attacks on us, the trans community? He is doing it for his Christian Nationalist base!

Their hate of us, is Trump’s hate of us.

My prediction is that you will see them trying to pass more anti-abortion laws, more anti-trans laws, more anti-marriage equality laws, anti-divorce laws, ban birth control pills, and ban the mailings of abortion medications.

Trump signs executive orders to reshape the military, including banning transgender troops

 President Donald Trump on Monday announced he had signed four executive orders that will reshape the military, including banning transgender service members from serving in the US armed forces; gutting the military’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs; and reinstating with back pay service members who were discharged for refusing to get vaccinated from Covid-19.

Trump said he signed the executive orders while aboard Air Force One on a return flight to Washington from Florida. CNN previously reported Trump was expected to do so, according to two White House officials.

The orders, which were first reported by the New York Post, come as Trump’s nominee to lead the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, was sworn in as secretary of defense on Saturday. Hegseth has long stated he planned to implement major cultural changes to the military, including ending DEI practices and removing “woke” service members.

Hours after being sworn in for his second term last week, Trump signed an order revoking the Biden administration’s 2021 move to allow transgender members to serve. However, the order Trump announced he had signed Monday goes even further, one of the officials said, and outlines new military standards regarding gender pronouns and state that mental and physical readiness requires transgender service members be banned from the military.

But that doesn't bother me that much because we knew it was coming what worries me more if Trump is shaping the military to be loyal to him and not the Constitution! In The Bucks County Beacon they write...

The day after the Jan. 6 domestic terrorist attack — a coup attempt supported by then-president Donald Trump and barely thwarted by law enforcement and National Guard forces — military and intelligence officers were alerted to a Guard member who worked as a Fox News host. Pete Hegseth, the Guard member in question, sported a tattoo common among white supremacists. Depicting the Latin words “Deus vult” — “God wills it” — the tattoo image depicted a Christian battle cry from the First Crusade of the Middle Ages, a maxim popular among present-day white supremacist groups, including the Proud Boys and Three Percenters. Few members of the military community, however, hold such extremist views. Concerned, Hegseth’s superiors pulled him back from Guard duty during incoming President Joe Biden’s inauguration.

Perceiving himself as being targeted for his extremist views, Hegseth angrily resigned from the National Guard.

STOP RIGHT THERE... "sported a tattoo common among white supremacists" and he is now the Secretary of Defense... a white supremacist!

“See you on the battlefield,” Hegseth concludes the book. “Together, with God’s help, we will save America. Deus vult!”

Devoted to taking freedom away from many Americans and championing far right, white male, Christian “warriors” as the ideal U.S. military serviceperson, Hegseth caught the attention of Trump, who in November nominated him for Defense Secretary of U.S. military forces. But along with the nomination came scrutiny of Hegseth’s questionable past of sexual assault accusations, acknowledged heavy drinking and allegations of mismanagement and personal misconduct as the head of two veterans’ advocacy organizations. In addition, he has less military experience than any person who has previously held the office of Defense Secretary.

Trump’s authoritarian intentions have long been known and are embraced by many far-right extremists perceiving themselves to be Christians. During the past two years, hundreds of neo-Nazi rallies have taken place across the United States. “Almost every week, small white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups have been descending on downtowns, gathering in public parks or rallying on the grounds of state houses and courthouses across the country,” a November New York Times article noted.

Trump staged one Coup and now he is packing the military with white supremacists and Christian Nationalist! January 6 was just a dress rehearsal to work the bugs out... now he is setting the stage for Coup 2.0. Mark my words Trump is going to for a third term he is laying the ground work to stay in power!
