The Republican National Committee gave their marching orders and all the good little Republicans fell in line behind their cult leader Trump just like little ducks.
The underlining reason they are pushing this is that playing to evangelical Christian base, they are riling up their base keeping them angry at us.
Trump uses the fear, the animosity to split the country right down the middle.

The former president's linking of “Christian visibility” and the election is similarly deliberate.

April 4, 2024At a campaign rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday, Donald Trump decried President Biden for issuing a White House proclamation of March 31 as the annual Trans Day of Visibility, which this year happened to fall on Easter. “What the h--- was Biden thinking when he declared Easter Sunday to be trans visibility day?” Trump complained, to loud boos from the audience. “Such total disrespect to Christians.”
The former president omitted that Biden has observed Trans Day of Visibility on the same day every year of his presidency, and the overlap with Easter was purely coincidental. Instead, Trump turned from stoking fears of Christian persecution to another campaign trail favorite: predicting his election victory. “November 5th is going to be called something else,” he said. “Christian visibility day, when Christians turn out in numbers that nobody has ever seen before.” The crowd reacted, of course, with raucous applause.
In the last few days, many GOP lawmakers and conservative figures have joined the ginned-up anger that trans people are getting special rights and recognition at the expense of Christians. But in linking “Christian visibility” to the election results, Trump is doing more than feeding into his base’s outrage of the week. He is dangerously priming his voters for a repeat of his multipronged assault on the 2020 election results and the peaceful transfer of power. After all, in the minds of Trump loyalists, if Christians (that is, Trump’s loyal base of white evangelical Christians) show up on Election Day in unprecedented numbers, how could he lose.
The underlining reason they are pushing this is that playing to evangelical Christian base, they are riling up their base keeping them angry at us.
Paula White-Cain, Trump’s top religious adviser throughout his presidency, said the proclamation “offended masses of Christians — people of faith — who are the backbone of this country and it moved them to swift action voicing their commitment to fight harder than ever before for those who support their values, fight for their freedoms and certainly recognize their most holy sacred day.” White-Cain was issuing both a statement and a warning that this supposed Biden transgression would only redouble evangelical fervor for Trump.

Former President Donald Trump repeated some of his darkest anti-immigration rhetoric Tuesday in Michigan, where he said the country has been “wrecked” by President Joe Biden’s border policies and promised mass deportations of illegal immigrants on “day one” if he’s reelected.
Trump reprised his controversial use of the word “bloodbath” in discussing Biden’s immigration policies and high-profile crimes in which the accused defendants were living in the country illegally, telling a crowd in Michigan “I stand before you today to declare that Joe Biden’s border bloodbath …” before pausing himself, seemingly to emphasize his use of the term, then adding, “and that’s what it is—it’s a bloodbath.”
Donald Trump called immigrants illegally in the United States "animals" and "not human" in a speech in Michigan on Tuesday, resorting to the degrading rhetoric he has employed time and again on the campaign trail.
The Republican presidential candidate, appearing with several law enforcement officers, described in detail several criminal cases involving suspects in the country illegally and warned that violence and chaos would consume America if he did not win the Nov. 5 election.
It was in early October when the Republican first started using anti-immigrant rhetoric that echoed Adolph Hitler’s “Mein Kampf.” The former president told a conservative outlet, in reference to migrants entering the United States, “Nobody has any idea where these people are coming from. ... It’s poisoning the blood of our country.”
After he started repeating the line with unnerving frequency, Trump was reminded in a recent interview that his language mirrored Hitler’s. The presumptive GOP nominee shrugged with indifference.
Around the same time, the Republican said in reference to migrants, “In some cases, they’re not people, in my opinion.” As The New York Times reported, he took such dehumanizing talk in a literal direction at an event yesterday.

Guess who are battling it out over us... one is the black night in dull armor and the other in shinny armor. Navratilova is going after Jenner for her anti-trans comments.
Former tennis star Martina Navratilova has slammed Caitlyn Jenner’s remarks about Joe Biden celebrating trans lives.Pink NewsBy Maggie BaskaApril 4, 2024International Transgender Day of Visibility has been held on 31 March every year since its inception in 2009. The annual celebration happened to coincide with Easter this year – much to the ire of the right-wing.Among the angry conservatives was Jenner, who lashed out at the president over the weekend after he re-iterated his administration’s support for trans rights. Trans former Olympian Jenner wrote on X/Twitter that she was “absolutely disgusted” that he “declared the most Holy of Holy Days” as Trans Day of Visibility.Jenner, who has frequently espoused anti-trans talking points, continued her rant in a Fox News interview, claiming that the Democrats were trying to “destroy the family structure, destroy religion”.This didn’t sit well with Navratilova, who has also lashed out at the trans community in the past. “So says a divorcee…. six children with three different wives and it’s the left that is destroying the family? Got it… what a pathetic hypocrite,” she wrote. So says a divorcee….6 children with 3 different wives and it’s the left that is destroying the family? Got it… what a pathetic hypocrite— Martina Navratilova (@Martina) April 1, 2024Jenner angrily responded by saying: “Last time I checked, I raised one of the most successful families in the world, with the most amazing women – their mothers – by my side. You’re the hypocrite. You support Dems that want men in women’s sports. Don’t ever come after my family. Tasteless!”
Jenner is a little Republican want-a-be because the Republicans don’t want anything to do with her. She is delusional into thinking the Republicans want her.
What drove the Easter optics was the juxtaposition of Biden's TDV proclamation with instructions preventing any arguably religious symbols during the WH Easter Egg Hunt. That provided grounds for suggesting the TDV wasn't a coincidence. In any case, whoever puts these declarations in front of Biden to sign (he later declared he didn't issue that TDV proclamation, an inarguable embarrassment regardless of one's point of view), lacks political sensitivity and common sense, and couldn't run a lemonade stand. Biden's subordinates should tighten up their game if they want to broaden their appeal to the general electorate in an election year.
