What It Says About Us.

[Editorial]
Have we lowered our standards by that much where we have no problem voting for a crook.

When President Nixon was caught breaking in to the Watergate business building in the 1970 he left office in disgrace! Both Democrats and Republicans were behind the impeachment.

The Republicans went after President Clinton for having sex with a White House aid, the Republicans held multiple hearings. Now it has become acceptable for a president to say “Grab them by their pu**y!”

John Edwards lost the election because of an extra-marital affair.

Now it has become acceptable to hop from bed to bed, to cheat on your taxes, to falsify business records, to take classified documents to do who knows what with them?

We now have a candidate who you cannot trust to tell the truth, he lies, cheat,s and uses vulgar language and half of the country find it acceptable. It has even become a badge of honor with Trump supporters.
What the polls say about Trump's hush money trial
About half of Americans think he's guilty. That likely won't matter in November.

Jury selection begins Monday in Donald Trump's New York hush money case, the first of the former president's four criminal trials. The charges are related to an alleged cover-up of a $130,000 hush money payment made to adult film actor Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. But the polls suggest that a guilty verdict would be unlikely to have a big influence come November.

[…]

In the months since, public opinion of the case has largely held steady, with around half of Americans believing that the former president is guilty of the charges. According to the latest YouGov/Economist poll, 48 percent of adults agreed that Trump falsified business records — though opinions were, unsurprisingly, split along partisan lines. Eighty-seven percent of Democrats believed Trump was guilty, but just 35 percent of independents and 14 percent of Republicans did.
I cannot believe that half of this country’s voters would vote for a crook just because he is “Our crook.”
And among Republicans, just 9 percent said a conviction in the Manhattan trial would make them less likely to support Trump, while 34 percent said it'd make them more likely to support his presidential bid. This isn't particularly surprising — Trump supporters have shown that they'll stick with him no matter what, and most skeptics who might be willing to turn on Trump have probably already done so.
I cannot believe that Christians back a candidate that is the least Christian in any candidate, who uses vulgar language, who tosses away trophy wives when he tires of them and his children are from three different wives. But these so called Christians back him because he is anti-LGBTQ and stokes their feelings of persecution.

In Yahoo News’ comment…
I have no doubt he did it. That’s what powerful people do. I just don’t care. I didn’t care when Clinton was decorating Monica’s dress. And I don’t care that the Donald was cheating with a third rate adult film star!

I'm amazed at how many people don't care about the law....while also preaching how much they love the Constitution.

If they could arrest Trump for putting the toilet paper on the wrong way they would
Trump voters are more of cult than a voting block. They worship the ground he walks upon. They idolize whatever he touches even though it turns to dust afterward.

Just look at his failures...
  •     Trump Taj Mahal casino resort in Atlantic City, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1991.
  •     Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992.
  •     Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2004.
  •     Trump Entertainment Resorts, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009.
  •     Trump’s three golf courses reported $63.6 million in losses between 2010 and 2018.
  •     Trump Airlines (Trump Shuttle) - Defaulted on $1 million monthly loan payments and surrendered ownership to creditors in 1992.
  •     Trump Beverages (Trump Ice, Trump Fire, Trump Power, Trump American Pale Ale) - Most never made it to market, trademarks were abandoned.
  •     Trump Mortgage - Closed down within 1.5 years due to poor timing and hiring.
  •     Trump University - Notorious for fraud lawsuits.
  •     Trump Magazine - Went out of business.
  •     Trump: The Game - Board game venture with Milton Bradley that failed to meet sales expectations.
And now you can add Truth Social to that list.

I cannot believe that Republicans still to this day believe that nothing out of the ordinary happened on January 6th while the whole world sat and watched the violence of that day. And they find nothing wrong with their candidate’s criminal trial.

Sadly this says a lot the state of our country. Hopefully our country will come to its senses in November.

  1. People, who are of sane minds, should remember the raving lunatic of the 1930's. When a man says he will be a dictator when he is elected, take him at his word. He already has his brown shirts riled up and ready to resume his bidding.
