A Connecticut Constitutional Amendment?

A bill is winding its way through the Connecticut General Assembly for a Constitutional Amendment...

SJ-4 RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT CONCERNING DISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF SEX UNDER THE EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSE.
This resolution moves forward a referendum to the voters of Connecticut to create an amendment to the state constitution that adds to the equal protection clause to provide that discrimination based on sex includes discrimination based on pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression. [My emphasis]

The bill moves out of the Government Administration and Elections Committee and on to the Senate calendar.
My thoughts is that it will make it through the legislature and be on the November ballot.
