The Enemy List.

Trump has politized the Department of Justice... by appointing judges who put loyalty above the law, by appointing prosecutors who ignore the law, and by demonizing judges and law firms who go against him.

Case #1
Lindsey Halligan, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, announced today that a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging former FBI Director James Comey with making a false statement and obstruction relating to his oral testimony before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on Sept. 30, 2020.

In case you forgot what this is about, PBS News writes...
James Comey pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a criminal case that has highlighted the Justice Department’s efforts to target adversaries of President Donald Trump, with lawyers for the former FBI director saying they plan to argue the prosecution is politically motivated and should be dismissed.

The arraignment lasted less than half an hour, but it was nonetheless loaded with historical significance given that the case has amplified concerns the Justice Department is being weaponized in pursuit of the Republican president’s political enemies and is operating at the behest of an administration determined to seek retribution.
Trump and Bondi had to find a prosecutor to take the Comey case, all the career prosecutors didn't to touch the case with a ten foot pole!

New York Attorney General Letitia James accused the Trump administration of using the justice system as a “tool of revenge” after she pleaded not guilty Friday in a federal mortgage fraud case the president pressed the Justice Department to bring.

James’ first court appearance in Virginia sets the stage for a high-stakes legal battle between the Republican administration and a longtime Democratic Trump foe who angered him with a major civil fraud case she brought against him. She’s accused of lying on mortgage papers to get favorable loan terms when purchasing a modest house in Norfolk, where she has family.

James is the third Trump adversary to appear before a judge this month on federal charges, amplifying concerns that the president is using the government’s law enforcement powers to seek retribution for his own legal troubles. Justice Department leaders have defended the cases and argue the Biden administration — which brought two indictments against him — was the one that weaponized the justice system.
This is nothing more than a vendetta... she convicted Trump on 34 counts and so now he is gunning for her!
James’ indictment followed the resignation of Erik Siebert as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia amid pressure from Trump administration officials to bring a case. Siebert was replaced with Lindsey Halligan, a White House aide and former Trump lawyer who had never previously served as a federal prosecutor and presented James’ case to the grand jury herself.
Did you catch that last part? So did the judge as CBS News reported;
.Attorneys for New York Attorney General Letitia James took aim at the Trump-appointed prosecutor overseeing her bank fraud case Thursday, accusing interim U.S. attorney Lindsey Halligan of an improper conversation with a journalist and vowing to seek dismissal of the indictment on the grounds that Halligan was unlawfully named to the job.

The pair of legal filings came the evening before James is set to be arraigned Friday in federal court in Norfolk, Virginia, on charges of bank fraud and making false statements to a financial institution. Prosecutors allege that James bought a house in Virginia and agreed to use it as a second home, but ultimately rented it out and used it as an investment property.
Why we she improperly hired... because no one else want the case!

Case #3
John Bolton cross swords with Trump when he wrote a book where he criticized Trump. Breaking one Trump commandments Thou shall not speak ill of Trump. So now he getting the wrath of Trump. In another CBS News article they write,
President Trump's former national security adviser John Bolton was indicted in Maryland on Thursday for allegedly mishandling classified information by sharing diary entries about his time in the White House with family members.

[...]

In a statement, Bolton said he has "become the latest target in weaponizing the Justice Department," and argued that Mr. Trump "embodies what Joseph Stalin's head of secret police once said, 'You show me the man, and I'll show you the crime.'"

"I look forward to the fight to defend my lawful conduct and to expose his abuse of power," Bolton wrote.
But as usual Trump & Company stretches the truth...
The charges against Bolton came after a different prosecutor's office — the U.S. Attorney's office in the Eastern District of Virginia — brought criminal charges against Comey and James, who have also drawn Mr. Trump's ire for years. They have denied all wrongdoing and argued the charges against them are driven by politics.
These cases are nothing but a farce and politically motivated... one of the problems is that the defendants are going to have to spend hundred of thousands of dollar defending themselves in court!
