He Said, He Said

Wait a minute! Wait a minute... Trump and Musk broke up! And it is all over the internet, but it is something deeper I want to talk about this morning.

Elon Musk and President Donald Trump's very public bromance is going through a very public breakup.

On Thursday, their disagreements over the Republican mega-bill advancing most of Trump's biggest domestic policy priorities erupted into personal attacks, with the two men using their respective social media platforms to hurl insults.

After Trump threatened on Truth Social to cut off billions of dollars in federal subsidies and contracts to Musk's companies, which include Tesla and SpaceX, Musk claimed — without evidence — that Trump appears in government documents about convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. "That is the real reason they have not been made public," Musk claimed.
Hold it right there... "convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein"?  Is Musk saying that he blackmailed Trump to get the job?

CNN...
Musk, in turn, announced without evidence that Trump “is in the Epstein files,” and that is the “real reason” more records regarding the disgraced financier and pedophile have not been publicly released, without providing any explanation on where he would’ve seen files that have not been released to the public. CNN has reached out to the White House for a response. The inclusion of a person’s name in files related to the case does not by itself indicate they have been accused of any wrongdoing.

[...]

“If Elon truly thought the President was more deeply involved with Epstein, why did he hangout with him for 6 months and say he loves him ‘as much as a straight man can love a straight man?’” the source said, quoting a February post on X from Musk.
It sure does sound like he blackmailed Trump...
Musk, who was the largest publicly disclosed donor in last year’s federal elections, had vowed to give millions to Republican candidates in 2026, then later indicated that he planned to scale back his political spending. Tesla stock also tumbled on Thursday as the Musk-Trump relationship imploded, and the company had already taken a significant hit following Musk’s myriad controversial political moves. Trump’s threat to terminate Musk’s government contracts could be devastating to his companies.

The immediate fallout underscores the huge stakes of an ugly divorce for both men and the Republican Party.

And the break-up comparisons weren’t just implicit. Conservative writer Ashley St. Clair, who has asserted that Musk is the father of her child, asked Trump on X to let her know if he needed “any breakup advice.”
Okay, a question. Musk has so much power because he spent millions of dollars to get Trump elected and it looks like he bought the presidency... all it took was $280 million! He bought the presidency and his reward was DOGE!

I think we should be screaming at the top of our lungs... "Musk bought the election!" This is what this public outbreak is all about, Musk feels he didn't get all what he bought. He didn't get the perks from Congress he wanted.

What did he get for his money? Well for one thing all the government agencies that were investigating him are no more! The EPA is now off his back. OSHA has now been defanged. Musk's companies were under investigation by at least 32 open federal investigations across more than 11 agencies... and now... most if not all of the 32+ investigations into Musk’s companies were ended, stalled, or dropped after DOGE’s creation and Musk’s appointment.

Never mind this bromance... for Musk's 280 million dollars he is no longer being investigated! Trump the master of distraction just got the focus changed from focusing on all the dirt to the break up!
