Yahoo FinanceBy Bibhu PattnaikMay 5, 2025Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA), has been accused by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov of remotely disabling his Cybertruck. What Happened: Kadyrov, who has been in power in Chechnya since 2007, alleged that his Cybertruck was “remotely disabled” by Musk. The Chechen leader voiced his discontent in a Telegram post, where he described Musk’s actions as unmanly."Elon Musk behaved badly. He gives expensive gifts from the heart, and then turns them off remotely," Kadyrov wrote in the post.
Stop! Hold it! Wait right here! What... what... "expensive gifts" Kadyrov is a dictator! A friend of Putin!
He gave him gifts? Who...
✓ He actively uses social media to set his public agenda, demand obedience, and vilify enemies.
✓ Has been accused of systematically eliminating opposition and dissent within Chechnya.
✓ Numerous reports document widespread human rights violations under Kadyrov's rule, including torture, extrajudicial killings, and persecution of LGBTQ+ individuals.
I started reading this about disabling the cybertruck and turned in to Muck cozying up to a dictator... kind of makes you wonder about Musk's Nazi salute, doesn't it.
This makes one think about the possibility there are back doors in chips that will allow any adversary (China?) disable anyone's war machines or civilian infrastructure.
