Double Mini-Post

I got a letter from the IRS today so I was with my tax preparer all afternoon and I couldn't write a full blog post, so here are two minis...

Trump is freaking out over ABC News telling the truth!

Donald Trump is threatening to sue American businesses for discussing the apparently cozy relationship he has with Qatari leadership.

In a post on Truth Social Sunday, the president publicly threatened to sue ABC News for reporting on the super luxury jumbo jet he received as a gift from Qatar.

“Why doesn’t Chairman Bob Iger do something about ABC Fake News, especially since I just won $16,000,000 based on the Fake and Defamatory reporting of Liddle George Slopadopolus,” Trump wrote, referring to a December arrangement in which ABC agreed to donate $15 million to Trump’s presidential library to settle his defamation lawsuit against the anchor.

“He was given warnings, but just couldn’t be restrained by ‘management.’ Now I see they are at it again, and I again give these SleazeBags fair warning!” he said.

The jet was widely interpreted as a foreign bribe, including by longtime supporters of the president’s agenda, such as far-right influencers Ben Shapiro and Laura Loomer. It was one of the most lavish gifts ever bestowed on a U.S. president.
Yup... it is a bribe! And I hope that Trump takes ABC News to court... Trump will get pounded in court. For one thing the First Amendment and second ABC News is telling the truth!

The other thing that set Trump off on a tizzy was Walmart telling the truth...
Walmart officials are indicating customers are likely to start feeling a more significant impact from higher prices because of tariffs in the coming weeks.

It's "eat the tariffs" vs. "everyday low prices."

President Donald Trump has put the spotlight on one of the largest U.S. retailers over whether prices are about to start ticking up because of the sizable tariffs that he has unilaterally enacted.

Walmart has indicated that consumers will soon start seeing higher costs as Trump's tariffs have begun to take effect. And retailers broadly have tried to warn consumers about impending price hikes.

But the president has sought to aggressively counter those warnings, instead putting the blame for cost increases on U.S. companies and China, which still faces tariffs totaling more than 40% across the board on its exports to the United States. Trump has said he'll call CEOs over the issue — something he has already done with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
Funny how the truth hurts Trump.
On Saturday, the president used his digital bully pulpit to call out Walmart, posting on Truth Social that America's largest brick-and-mortar retailer should insulate its customers from any price hikes.
Ah... the Republicans, the party that will get the government off you back!
