Have We Seen The High Water Mark?

Something happened.

With what happened at the White House back in February with Zelenskyy I think that people were disgusted with what they saw. Then the stock market collapsed. Then Musk drove them over the edge with his shenanigans. I think that many people are now having second thoughts.

And now with the latest polls...
  • Disapproval on economy: 48%, approval: 37%
  • 46% say Trump's economic policies are making the economy worse
  • Overall job approval: 45%, disapproval: 54%
  • Disapproval of economic handling: 56%
  • Disapproval of tariff handling: 61%
  • Disapproval of federal budget handling: 52%
Down, down, down the tubes goes Trump. The cult followers are sticking fast with their leader but the non-affiliated are having second thoughts and everyone else is saying WTF!

There are cartoons and late night hosts jokes being circulated about having to take out a loan to buy eggs. Also I read a lot of comments on Yahoo News and there has been a shift there also from more pro-Trump comments to more anti-Trump comments. They are starting to see the Donny & Elon Dog and Pony Show for what it is doing to the country.

Then all those fired by Musk are all winning courts cases to send them back to work...
Thousands of fired federal workers must be rehired immediately, judge rules

A federal judge on Thursday ordered federal agencies to rehire tens of thousands of probationary employees who were fired amid President Donald Trump’s turbulent effort to drastically shrink the federal bureaucracy.

U.S. District Judge William Alsup described the mass firings as a “sham” strategy by the government’s central human resources office to sidestep legal requirements for reducing the federal workforce.

Alsup, a San Francisco-based appointee of President Bill Clinton, ordered the Defense, Treasury, Energy, Interior, Agriculture and Veterans Affairs departments to “immediately” offer all fired probationary employees their jobs back. The Office of Personnel Management, the judge said, had made an “unlawful” decision to terminate them.

And even if it is upheld on appeal, it does not guarantee that all the workers will be able to get their jobs back permanently: Alsup made clear that agencies still have the authority to implement “reductions in force,” as long as they follow the proper procedures for doing so. Federal agencies are currently finalizing “reduction in force” plans.
Laws do not mean much to Trump and Musk... they will just tie them up in legal wranglings.

I foresee Trump poll number going down in flames when people start to realize that Trump is nothing more than a shyster. Hopefully it will be reflected in the April elections to replace cabinet members Trump recruited for his gang of thieves.

Yesterday the stock market tanked! As people watched their 401K and IRAs disappear.

Deep in the back of my mind, I think Trump can't be this dumb to know everything he is doing is hurting the country... it is almost like he is doing it on the orders of some foreign ruler on purpose.
