Me, Me, Me, Me...

I don't know what political persuasion he is but have you ever noticed that for Republican it is always about them! Just look how Trump replied to Bishop Budde sermon. Or look at the flag at half staff for President Cater... it was all about Trump. It seems like some people just lack empathy, for instant take the owner of a dealership who is flying an oversize flag.

The CEO of Camping World has responded to the City of Greenville’s notice of violation letter regarding the giant American flag at his business, saying the flag is not coming down.

Marcus Lemonis also posted on “X” in response to the violation notice from the city, “You can fine me all you want City of Greenville North Carolina. #NoAmericanFlagIsTooBig.

So he is giving the one finger salute to law and to the neighbors... me, me, me!

Earlier this month city council denied a request for Camping World to allow the flag after it says the company put it up knowingly in violation of the regulations regarding the size of the pole and the size of the flag.

The controversy over the American Flag measuring 3,200 square-feet and rising 120 feet above Evans Street on Camping World’s property began in October when city officials notified Camping World that the flag and flagpole size violated city ordinances.

The flag is nearly 15 times bigger than the allowable flag on non-residential property in the city, while the pole cannot exceed 70 feet.

He knowingly put up an oversize flag! He knew it was against the law but he put in up anyway but it always about him. Newsbreak reported...

A concerned citizen pointed out the violation to city officials, who first informed Camping World it was in violation in October. Camping World submitted a text amendment request to modify the city’s flag ordinance to allow the flag to remain in place.

Where I grew up there was a school on the block behind us and on a summer with the windows open I could hear the snapping and popping of the flag, and it was just a normal size flag. Just imagine what an oversize sounds like?

These people who think they are above the law and don't care what they are doing to others, it is all about me!
