Trump is complaining again! So what else is new?

You know Trump by now, everything is always about him and now he is complaining that the flags will be at half-staff.

President-elect Donald Trump complained on Friday that American flags would still be lowered to half-staff in honor of the late President Jimmy Carter during Trump's Jan. 20 inauguration.

President Joe Biden ordered flags lowered to half-staff for 30 days from the day of Carter's death on Dec. 29, as is custom when a U.S. president dies.

The nerve of President Carter to die now! How selfish of Carter, he did it just so that flags will be at half-staff. It was all done on purpose to rain down on Trump's parade!

"The Democrats are all 'giddy' about our magnificent American Flag potentially being at 'half mast' during my Inauguration," Trump said, employing a term frequently used for the lowered position when the flag is on a ship.

"They think it’s so great, and are so happy about it because, in actuality, they don’t love our Country, they only think about themselves," Trump said.

Trump said that due to Carter's death last week the American flag would "for the first time ever during an Inauguration of a future President, be at half mast."

"Nobody wants to see this, and no American can be happy about it. Let’s see how it plays out," he said.

Me, me, me! With Trump it is always about him!

USA Today reported that Trump complained about the flags...

"Look at what they’ve done to our once GREAT America over the past four years - It’s a total mess!" Trump said. "In any event, because of the death of President Jimmy Carter, the Flag may, for the first time ever during an Inauguration of a future President, be at half mast. Nobody wants to see this, and no American can be happy about it. Let’s see how it plays out."

I tell you what nobody wanted to hear is Trump complaining about respecting a former president.

Biden has said he plans to attend Trump's inauguration, committing to an orderly transfer of power, despite Trump skipping Biden's 2021 inauguration after Trump fought to overturn his 2020 election loss.

Just remember, only 49.8 percent of the votes cast for him... it was not a landslide!
