When you are angry and you use a derogatory word and you apologize for it, well I don’t buy it. You are only apologizing for it because you got caught!
When you are mad or angry you don’t use words that you don’t use in everyday speech, you use words that are familiar to you. So when you use a homophobic word you are using a word that is common to you. You don’t use highfalutin words you use words that slip off you tongue you use words that you use everyday. My guess that it is common locker room talk that he and possible the team uses everyday in the locker room.
