Well, the Republicans do that to the Democrats all the time. That’s why the Democrats were holding out — because in the past, the Republicans have often promised to pass the legislation the Democrats wanted, only to back out later. So now we’ll see whether the Republicans will pass the funding for the Affordable Care Act or if they’ll pull the ball away again.

The Senate Republicans only agreed to bring the issue to a vote. Is there 60 votes to pass the legislation to extend the subsidies? Will Speaker Johnson bring a vote to the floor of the House of Representatives? Would POTUS sign the legislation? Lucy will not even have a football for Charlie Brown kick.
