"Drag Race" Star Adore Delano Posted Her Results After Receiving Facial Feminization Surgery
Adore came out as transgender and announced plans to receive facial feminization surgery last year.

She competed in Season 6 and Season 2 of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.
Before that, you might have seen her on the seventh season of American Idol back in 2008.
Last year, Adore came out as transgender and announced plans to receive facial feminization surgery.Also known as FFS, facial feminization surgery is a gender-affirming treatment that makes facial features appear more feminine.
Well, now, three months after her operation, Adore has returned to Instagram with a video showing off the results.
"The b*tch is back," Adore captioned her post, noting that while she still has "lots of healing to get through," she's finally "feeling human again."
FFS is one of my pet peeves.
I used to go to First Event in the Boston area ever winter and one of the big things of the conference are all the doctors and surgeons who attended… clinic toting their wares, voice coaches, tranc shaves, Gender Confirming Surgeons, and FFS surgeons. One FFS surgeons had a whole stable of his clients he brought to the conference to show the results.
Well one of the things that I noticed was they all looked the same, like plastic. I also thought about having FFS but one look at them changed my mind. And then I found out how much it costed… WOW! We are talking about in the tens of thousands of dollars back in the 2000s!
I know of a couple of trans people who visited a FFS surgeon out in California, yeah there face did look a little more feminine but…
One friend spent her whole inheritance from her mother on FFS and went out to California for it. And her surgery soured my on the doctors. They take anyone who has the money. Now my friend is 6 foot 5 inches, very big boned, large hands, and wear a size 13 women’s shoe.
It looks like Adore Delano has a body that works with FFS but for people like me who have a typical male body have FFS will do nothing for them.

“My Body, My Choice” they are adults who decided if FFS is for them, this is my opinion and they get to make their own decision. But it doesn’t mean I have to like the looks after they have FFS.
