KATHMANDU, MAR 09 - Manoj Shahi Monika, a third gender, is preparing to ascend Mount Everest this season to set a new record on highest peak of the world representing the transgenders around the globe.

Monika, 35, a resident of Kailali, is determined to conquer the world’s tallest peak to give out a message to the world that the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) are equally capable to undertake challenges alike any other gender.
