April Is Poetry Month

And this is a poem that I just wrote…

Oh where, oh where have my friends gone

The world did not end with a bang, but a whimper
The world slowly faded to black
With promises
And pledges

They were by my side during my life
When I needed them
I was alone

They would not follow where I lead
In the shadows
They are found
