You Never Know…

…When you walk out the door. You could be hit by a truck, robbed, a tree fall on you, or a host of endless other disasters befall you; we all share these risks equally but for LGBT people and people who do not fit the gender norms there are additional risks when we step out the door,

Around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dominguez went to a liquor store on College Avenue in Oak Park to buy a beer. Outside, she said a man started yelling at her, using an urban slang term for gay.

"I asked him, 'Why do you have to hate on people?'"

Dominguez said moments later there was a flurry of punches in the face from the man and his friend, before the man emptied a can of pepper spray in her direction.
When we say something back we get blamed, if we defend ourselves then we are the attacker. According to the video the attacker is claiming that she’s a lair.
