April 7, 2025The fight to keep the Camping World flag up in Greenville continues.Four people stood in front of the flag on Evans Street with signs in support of the Camping World flag.Just last week, the Greenville City Council voted to file a civil action against Camping World. Now, people are showing their support with the company that is refusing to take the flag down.“Being a retired Marine, this means so much to me, and so when I heard that the Greeneville, all of a sudden decided that they want to stop, you know, have them take it down or do a smaller one, that’s not acceptable,” Marty Rebello said. “I mean, you’ve got to have a lot of love and hope for this country, I mean it takes good care of us, and we need to take good care of it.”
Just what does having a huge flag prove... that you are more patriot than everyone else or that you are a big d**k head then anyone else?
Where I used to live one summer in Rochester NY there was a people down the street who flew a normal size flag. On windy days you could hear the flag snap in the wind... I can't imagine how loud that would be with a flag that size! Also the metal snaps that mount the flag banged against the metal pole... it was like a bell ringing all hours of the day!
If he is so patriot why is he ignoring the law and creating a public nuisance.
