Is that they only have a four or five percent advantage, and it all boils down to turn out. We saw that the other day in the elections, the overwhelming turnout over came the gerrymandering bias. Also in statewide elections of the governor and other statewide elected officials like Senators gerrymandering doesn’t matter.
I think that the smart Republicans know that they made a big, big mistake with abortion, that when you play to your base sometimes your base isn’t big enough to overcome the anger that was generated when abortion was overturned.
That when you practice “attack politics” the voters will see though it after a while.
This bodes well for the Democrats in 2024… if, if they can overcomes the feeling of “doom” that the voters have. So get out and vote in 2024, that is the way to win!
