The Freedom To Bully And Harass

That is what a Christian teacher wants, he wants to deadname and misgender the students.

A TEACHER who was suspended after ‘accidentally’ calling a transgender pupil who identifies as a boy a ‘girl’ during a lesson is suing this school for religious discrimination.

Joshua Sutcliffe was suspended when the pupil’s mother lodged an official complaint six weeks after the event.

He is now reportedly taking the Oxfordshire school to an employment tribunal, claiming he has been singled out for his Christianity.

He also faces claims he breached equality policies by referring to the pupil by name rather than saying “he” or “him”, reports the Mail on Sunday.
He said that he “accidentally” called him a girl… um if he is suing for religious discrimination it doesn’t sound accidental, further more…
Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre which is supporting Mr Sutcliffe in the case, said: “This is one of a large number of cases we are encountering where teachers are finding themselves silenced or punished if they refuse to fall in line with the current transgender fad.”
Let’s see he thinks that it is okay to misgender and harass a student in the name of “religious freedom,” I don’t think he can be a very good teacher if he treats students that way.

  1. "He also faces claims he breached equality policies by referring to the pupil by name rather than saying “he” or “him”..." I have told people who find it difficult within themselves to acknowledge my true gender to simply use my name when referring to me - therefore avoiding pronouns altogether. I find that more constructive than forcing someone to be politically correct. With time, my hope is that such a person would see and accept me for who I am, and would eventually start using the correct pronouns. If not, at least using my name is correct and not harmful. A religious freedom stance is just plain bogus.

  2. it is the new fad of anti political correctness where people asked to be polite to transgender people will not because it insults their religious sensibilities. Basically it is a way to discriminate on religious grounds which sounds like an oxymoron. Religious people are supposed to be tolerant and nice to others and avoid being judgmental most especially in matters they know little about. His lawyer another dim bulb calls it the current transgender "fad" so we know where she stands...
