The whole thing is a farce. A publicity stunt.
The U.S. consumes roughly 3.8 to 4.0 million barrels of distillate fuel oil (diesel) per day. The initial Russian shipment of 300,000 metric tons... approximately 2.25 million barrels, will last us roughly 14 to 15 hours.
The remaining 11.25 million barrels will last about 3 days.
This is nothing more than a stunt to influence the election and make it sound like he’s taking action!
