But one thing I believe that who are or did serve deserve full benefits! They were will to put their lives on the line and we should take care of them!
By ReutersSeptember 18, 2026More US troops have died during the US-Israeli war with Iran than the Pentagon has publicly disclosed, the Washington Post reported on Friday.Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth denied the report.[…]The Post, citing five unidentified officials, reported that there had been at least 22 military fatalities, four more than were listed in the data available on the Pentagon's public database. The newspaper also reported, citing another unidentified official, that not all of the undisclosed deaths were directly tied to the months-long conflict but involved US personnel who were in the Middle East amid ongoing hostilities.
Yeah, but it is only four not counted… big deal! Yeah it is a big deal! You see the families don’t get the same benefits as those who were killed in a combat zone.
CNNBy Davis Winkie & Aleena FayazAleena FayazJul 24, 2026Democratic members of the Senate sent a letter to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth late Thursday demanding answers as to why the website was having issues and asked for a full accounting of war casualties.Four deaths and dozens of injuries disappeared from the totals on Thursday after the Defense Casualty Analysis System website had correctly listed the total number of US troops killed in the war at 18 earlier in the week. Four soldiers died – three in Jordan and one in Iraq – as part of operations over the weekend.[…]The Defense Department has been slow to disclose injuries during the war, with officials pointing to security needs. On Monday, Parnell had acknowledged that “nearly 100 service members” had been injured in the war since July 7, at a time when dozens of those injuries did not appear in the DCAS totals.
This is from a government whose leader call those who died on D-Day losers and suckers!
I hope that they are not denying benefit because of cost nor because of the politic because they fear making the public even more against the war.
Have you noticed the absence of any news coverage of any funerals for those who have fallen? Or interviews with those who may have been discharged from the services because of injuries? Or reporting of the awarding of a Purple Heart? As long as there is no news coverage of the personal sacrifices, there are not faces put with the numbers. Trump, definitely, does not want news coverage of an internment service at a local cemetery.
