Federal officials are reportedly considering renaming New York's Penn Station after former President Donald Trump, part of a broader effort to revamp the busy hub, though the exact new name has not been disclosed.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy sent a letter to three Senate committees stating that renaming Penn Station is an "administration priority".
Penn Station handles about 600,000 travelers each day, making it the busiest transportation hub in the United States.
The Department of Transportation and Amtrak plan to begin a redesign project for Penn Station in 2027, which may include new shops, cleaner platforms, and less confusing layouts.
