Last night complete with personal grievances, unscripted tangents, and focused attacks on specific journalists and political opponents as usual for Trump. Normally a lighthearted roast, but as typical Trump went for the jugular!

He referred to “the attempted mass murder” that could have happened that night in April, but then moved largely to humor — and, increasingly, insults.
This is sitting president saying those things. On the podium Trump said,
He also made a pained reference to the evening’s journalism awards, many for stories challenging him and his administration — including one for the Wall Street Journal’s coverage of his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. “Do I have a say in those awards?” he asked.
The Guardian reported that Trump said;
Trump ended his remarks with a joke that landed awkwardly, declaring that he planned to run and win a fourth election – a reference both to his false claim he won the 2020 election and to his repeated suggestion that he could seek a third term, despite the constitution’s two-term limit.“I won three times, now I’m going to do it again,” the president said, sarcastically, placing a red “Trump 2028” hat on his head.
The problem is that you never know if he is joking.
