- A federal judge ruled in favor of Harvard University in a legal dispute with the Trump administration.
- The judge stated the administration used antisemitism as a "smokescreen" to target universities.
- Contrary to social media speculation, Barron Trump did not apply to Harvard. He’s attending NYU.
A federal judge handed Harvard University a win on Sept. 3 in a legal battle against President Donald Trump's administration.Harvard is one of several universities that has been targeted by the Trump administration, which alleges schools aren't doing enough to protect Jewish students. Harvard has defied the administration's orders and taken the issue to court. U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs ruled with the school in its quest to regain access to $3 billion in federal research funding. The judge stated the defendants under the administration "used antisemitism as a smokescreen for a targeted, ideologically-motivated assault on this country’s premier universities."The White House condemned the ruling and vowed to appeal, USA TODAY previously reported. When the back and forth with Harvard started earlier this year, it kicked up some social media taunting that suggested without evidence that the president may have a personal vendetta against the school. If he does, it does not appear to be from the president's college-aged son, Barron Trump.[...]Harvard University did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

I don't know about you but I think "He doth protest too much, methinks".
Do I think that this all has to do with Barron Trump, no. But Trump history of vendettas lends credence to the accusations.
