JuristPaul Leech | Georgetown U. Law Center, USSeptember 23, 2025US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday designating Antifa a domestic terrorist organization. The order calls Antifa a “militarist, anarchist enterprise that explicitly calls for the overthrow of the United States Government.” Asserting a trend of political violence, the order instructs executive agencies to “investigate, disrupt, and dismantle any and all illegal operations” of Antifa and related people. A fact sheet from the Trump administration describes multiple examples of political violence, which it attributes to Antifa, including assaults against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.Antifa, which stands for anti-fascist, has long been a concern of President Trump, who called for this designation at the end of his first term as well. The Congressional Research Service (CRS) describes Antifa as a decentralized, extremist movement rooted in communism, socialism, and anarchism that gained prominence in 2017 after fighting with white supremacists in Charlottesville, Virginia. CRS notes that Antifa has no organizational structure nor a common enemy list and is composed of independent individuals.
I don't know about you but conservatives have done a lot more than the left... MAGE was involved in a coup on Jan6. BBC News writes...
Trump's order directs all agencies and departments to "investigate, disrupt, and dismantle any and all illegal operations...conducted by Antifa" and its supporters.Investigators have yet to establish a motive in Kirk's killing and there is no evidence to suggest the murder suspect was affiliated with Antifa.

But Antifa is sometimes used as a catch-all term by conservative politicians and commentators to include other liberal and left-wing groups that they politically object to.
That is what I am afraid of... that any liberal organizations protesting peacefully will be labeled an extremists group!
But first of all there is no law here in the United State that says anything about domestic terrorist organization! The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law writes...
This database provides information on all state domestic terrorism laws in the country. U.S. federal law defines domestic terrorism, but provides no penalties. Instead, the offense of domestic terrorism is state-based, and varies considerably across the country. Thirty-two states and Washington D.C. criminalize the act of domestic terrorism, while the remainder of the states do not. Most state anti-terrorism laws were enacted in the wake of the September 11 attacks, although some were enacted or amended more recently.
So that leaves me scratching my head... if there are no penalties, what do the order. Ah... but there are thing he can do otherwise they would be illegal, like surveillance! ABC News said that,
He says it's a very bad and “sick” group. The executive order says antifa “uses illegal means to organize and execute a campaign of violence and terrorism nationwide” to accomplish its goal of overthrowing the U.S. government. The order calls on relevant government departments and agencies to use every authority to investigate, disrupt and dismantle any and all illegal operations, including terrorist actions conducted by antifa or anyone claiming to act on its behalf.
According to a government report... in a 5‑year span, deaths linked to right‑wing extremists are in the dozens to over a hundred, while deaths linked to left‑wing extremists are usually in the single digits or very low double digits! NY1 wrote that,
In the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance — as well as senior administration officials, members of Congress and powerful allies outside of government — have painted left-wing violence as one of the greatest threats to the United States, as they have announced their intentions to intensify the federal government crackdown on their political enemies.[...]The right-wing think tank Cato Institute published its own report last week in the wake of Kirk’s assassination, concluding that 3,599 people “have been murdered in politically motivated terrorist attacks in the United States from January 1, 1975, through September 10, 2025,” with 83% of those deaths occurring during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. But, the report continued, “right-wingers are the second most common motivating ideology, accounting for 391 murders and 11 percent of the total” during that time period, accounting for killings by “those motivated by white supremacy, anti-abortion beliefs, involuntary celibacy (incels), and other right-wing ideologies.”“Left-wing terrorists murdered 65 people, or about 2 percent of the total,” the Cato report continued. “Left-wing terrorists include those motivated by black nationalism, anti-police sentiment, communism, socialism, animal rights, environmentalism, anti-white ideologies, and other left-wing ideologies.”
Just more lies to demonize us because they all knew this because,
The federal report pulled from the website of the National Institute of Justice — the Justice Department’s research arm — was still available on the government’s website as of roughly 4:45 p.m. EDT on Sept. 11, about 24 hours after Kirk’s killing, according to the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. Published in the NIJ Journal in June of last year, both the links to the report’s webpage and the PDF file hosted by the federal government no longer lead to the report, and archived versions on the Wayback Machine indicate it was pulled down at some point on Sept. 11 or 12 last week.Independent investigative reporter Jason Paladino was the first to report on the missing study, which is still listed on the Department of Homeland Security’s website.“Militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism has increased in the United States," the report stated. "In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism. Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists, including 227 events that took more than 520 lives.“In this same period, far-left extremists committed 42 ideologically motivated attacks that took 78 lives,” the report continued.
So these are all lies so that they pass draconian laws against us and rally their base.
