Chicago sees 5 killed, 35 wounded

Whoa! In one day that sound horrible and Trump send troops immediately! The article in Fox went on to say,

Days after President Donald Trump warned he would send the National Guard to Chicago, police said at least five people were fatally shot and 35 others wounded over the Labor Day weekend, according to reports.

According to ABC7 Chicago, two women were found shot in a South Shore apartment on Friday night. One, a 25-year-old, was hit in the abdomen and leg and later died at the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Around 11 a.m. Saturday, an SUV pulled up and a gunman opened fire on two men outside, police said. A 29-year-old was shot multiple times and later died at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Holy sh*t! Crime is out of control! It is those f**king libs!

Chicago's Democratic leaders continue to insist Chicago does not need Trump's help to tackle the violence that has so long plagued the Windy City.

Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker pushed back, calling Trump’s approach "unconstitutional" and "a dangerous power grab."

We need the TROOPS... send in the military!

But stop and think, the knee jerk reaction to the news headline and article. Chicago is a big, big city!

What is the violent crime rate in Chicago per100,000? It is 540 per 100,000! WOW!

But New Orleans has a violent crime rates of 1,444.1 per 100,000!!!!!! Almost triple of Chicago!

What about Memphis? Holly C**p it is 2,611.9 per 100,000! That is over four times greater the Chicago!

So why send troops to Chicago and not Memphis? One word politics! And as a bonus point it is the home town of former president Obama!

Planning is under way to send national guard troops to Chicago, an official at the Pentagon confirmed to ABC News on Sunday.

“We won’t speculate on further operations. The Department is a planning organization and is continuously working with other agency partners on plans to protect federal assets and personnel,” a Department of Defense official said, according to ABC.

Earlier on Sunday, Hakeem Jeffries, House minority leader and New York Democratic congressman, said Donald Trump had “manufactured a crisis” to justify sending federalized national guard troops into Chicago next, over the heads of local leaders.

Late on Friday, Pentagon officials confirmed to Fox News that up to 1,700 men and women of the national guard were poised to mobilize in 19 mostly Republican states to support Trump’s anti-immigration crackdown by assisting the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) with “logistical support and clerical functions”.

I want you to notice that they are all Republican states that are sending troops! They're bootlicking Trump to get on his good side.

The national guard is normally under the authority of the individual states, deployed at the request of the state governor and only federalized – or deployed by the federal government – in a national emergency and at the request of a governor.

Where is all of this going? Republican states sending troop to norther states, hmm... when was the last time we saw southern troop in the north?

Trump might be tapping somewhat into public perception when he describes cities such as Chicago as a “killing field.” The vast majority of Americans, 81%, see crime as a “major problem” in large cities, according to a survey released this week by The AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, though there is much less support, 32%, for federal control of police.
