Colorado Republican U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, a supporter of Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law, has now proposed that queer and trans people should remain closeted until reaching a designated level of "maturity."

“We require people to be 21 to purchase alcohol beverages, and 21 to purchase tobacco products,” the Colorado congresswoman wrote in a tweet posted on April 1. 

“Why is it so unreasonable to require people to reach a certain level of maturity before making life-altering decisions about their sexuality and identity?”

How stupid can they be?

How much they despise us.

They want to force us back us back in to our closets.

This is just the latest in what has become a pattern of anti-LGBTQ+ comments made by Boebert. In February, she was outspoken in her opposition to the Equality Act because it would extend civil rights protections to LGBTQ+ individuals. “We all know that that’s just the Democrats using a play on words. There’s nothing about equality in that act. If anything, it’s supremacy of gays and lesbians and transvestites,” Boebert said in an interview on Real America’s Voice.

Anyone voting Republican is supporting our oppression.

Protesters disturb Mississippi Transgender Day of Visibility event at Fondren Park

Protesters disturbed the Mississippi Transgender Day of Visibility event at Fondren Park.

A group brought signs and used a blow horn in an attempt to interrupt the events going on.

This day is meant to celebrate transgender and gender nonconforming individuals while promoting acceptance and equality for those people.

"As Christians, we're coming out to speak the truth against sin. Here, they are celebrating immorality, and we are coming out to preach that there is salvation in Jesus Christ," said Coleman Boyd, a protester.

These butinskis want to force their religion on us.

They consider their faith is the only true faith and they don’t respect other people’s religious beliefs.

The British Independent wrote about Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene praising the reelection of Hungarian autocrat prime minister Viktor Orban.

“Congratulations to Viktor Orban on winning a victory well deserved!,” tweeted Ms Greene. “He’s leading Hungary the right way and we need this in America”.

On Sunday, Mr Orban was re-elected for a fourth term despite his historic sympathy for Mr Putin and attacks on LGBT+ individuals – including the introduction of a Russian-style law forbidding discussions about LGBT+ issues in schools, or “propaganda”.

Voters were presented with four questions on Sunday about teaching school-age children about “sexual orientation” and “sex reassignment therapy”, as well as the showing of “sexually explicit media” to minors.

Ms Greene, who has been a vocal critic of LGBT+ issues at home, added that “America should also ban sexually explicit media in sex-ed and all gender change information for minors under 18 intentionally confusing children.”

We see where the Republican party want to head toward… authoritarianism.
