I’m More Trans Than You!

Transphobia comes in many forms including internalized transphobia, I call it “I’m more trans than you!” or a pecking order. As we try to get rid of the gatekeepers some trans people want them back.

I came along this article when someone just posted it in a support group.
Caitlyn Jenner wants a “commission” to determine which trans girls are “truly trans”
She appears to have taken her third position on the question of whether transgender girls should be treated equally in school sports.

Caitlyn Jenner said she wants to put together a state “commission” to determine on a case-by-case basis if trans girls are “truly trans” enough to play school sports.

“What I would do as governor, I would put together a commission,” she said on Fox News yesterday. “And trans women, who are truly trans, who at a very young age, you know, started proper medical treatment, they’ve grown up as girls, of course, they should be able to compete in girls’ sports.”
She went on to say;
“Trans women who are truly trans, who at a very young age, you know, started medical treatment, they’ve grown up as girls, of course, they should be able to compete in girls’ sports.”

“But some guy who hasn’t done any therapy, who hasn’t done anything, there has to be a review board,” she continued. She was referring to trans girls who have not received gender-affirming medical care like puberty blockers or hormone replacement therapy as “guys.”
STOP RIGHT THERE!

There are no medical treatment for young trans children! For a trans woman she is awful dumb about the Standard of Care for children. Medical intervention doesn’t begin until Tanner Stage 2, when a child begins puberty.
Jenner appeared to be saying that trans women “who are truly trans” started medical transition at an early age, implying that those who transition in high school (but not earlier) are not “truly trans.” Jenner herself did not transition until well into adulthood.
So who would decide? Would you have to go before a panel of so-called “judges?” We find that little Donny does not met the requirements to be truly called trans.

There is no definitive test to determine if a person is trans or not… it is the individual who gets to make that call.

By her own words she wouldn’t be called a trans person because she transitioned late in life.

Since I came out I observed that those who say that “true trans women” have surgery and all the other trans women are just “men in dresses” suffer from insecurity. They are afraid to to be associated with other trans people, because they are “real women” now.

They suffer from internalized transphobia and homophobia.
