It’s The Law…

Media Matters has an article that debunks the right-wing harping about trans-people in bathrooms,

Iowa: Des Moines Police Department: "We Have Not Seen That."
Maine: State Human Rights Commission: "No Factual Basis" For Sexual Assault Fears.

Vermont: State Human Rights Commission: "We Are Not Aware" Of Any Problems From Non-Discrimination Law
When we were trying to pass the non-discrimination law here in Connecticut in 2009, I had letters from Iowa’s Civil Rights Commission, Colorado’s Division of Civil Rights, and Washington’s Human Rights Commission all stating that they never had any trouble with their gender inclusive non-discrimination laws. I was an intern at a women rights organization that was one of the leaders in passing the Connecticut law and it was my job to collect the letters from other states.
