Syria: a "large-scale" retaliation for an ambush on American personnel

Once again, Trump wheels the Sword of Vengeance!
BBCJaroslav Lukivand & Makuochi OkaforDecember 27, 2025The US has launched strikes against militants linked to the Islamic State group (IS) in north-western Nigeria, where militants have sought to establish a foothold.Camps run by the group in Sokoto state were hit near the border with Niger, the US military said. Casualty numbers are unclear, but both US and Nigerian officials say militants were killed.US President Donald Trump said the Christmas Day strikes had been "deadly" and labelled the group "terrorist scum", saying they had been "targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians".Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar told the BBC it was a "joint operation" and had "nothing to do with a particular religion".
But as usual Trump lied in say it was to stop religious oppressions but;
He said there was no issue with IS in the area: "We live peacefully, and there is no conflict between us and Christians."The Trump administration has previously accused the Nigerian government of failing to protect Christians from jihadist attacks and has claimed a "genocide" is being perpetrated.
As usual, Trump only thinks in the "Now!"
But it is not just about the "now"—we are still paying for the coup we sponsored in Iran! Iran was planning on nationalizing its oil fields, and the U.S. and Britain wanted none of that. We staged a coup in 1953 and put the Shah of Iran in power. In 1979, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was overthrown, the Revolutionary Guard took control, and look where we are now!
We wanted bananas, so we invaded or staged coups to overthrow governments:
- 1911 Honduras: A U.S. hired an army and went in an overthrew the government.
- 1928 Colombia: United Fruit was getting the shaft so we invaded them.
- 1954 Guatemala: Give us your bananas or we invade you.
In 1979, Russia invaded Afghanistan for a "short, glorious little war," and look at Afghanistan now—the fighting never truly ends. In 1982, Argentina thought the British would be a pushover, that they wouldn't sail 8,000 miles... wrong! And Britain thought, "We have the mightiest navy in the world!" But Argentina had Exocet missiles.
(War) It ain't nothing but a heartbreaker(War) It's got one friend, that's the undertaker, aww!
In 2025 Trump is dreaming of a "Glorious Little War" that will boost his ratings. Knock off this little thirds-world country... piece of cake!
But unlike the banana wars, Venezuela has: Russian S-300 air defenses and Iranian drone tech. Trump is biting off more than he can chew and leading us into decades of unrest!
War has shattered many young men's dreamsMade them disabled, bitter and meanLife is much too short and precious to be fighting wars these daysWar can't give life, it can only take it away, aww!
* War, Edwin Starr
Not only are these liar's pants on fire but they are now in the process of setting the world wide world burning. Here is a good case of not picking and choosing like at a smorgasbord. Either we are for the slaughter fest or we are against it. The evil of war extends in all directions, and both sides of the aisle are equally working this evil to their benefit. I remember quite well when Obama was president, what was the number of wars his administration involved in? Seven I believe. But all of the liberals forgot about that and loved him. The LGBT+Community got aboard the boat and would eat a mile of whatever as he appeared as the great promise. How many learned from that day at the White House when Jennicet Gutierrez interrupted Obama over the abuse and mistreatment of Trans immigrants in the detention centers. How many LGBT people in that room erupted in applause when she was removed from the room. We won't even get into the possibilities of the U.S being beaten back as in wars before as there is hope the people can stop wars before they even start. I have always believed and continue to that war is wrong and stopping it must always be on the front burner.
ReplyDeleteBut there is nothing like a short glorious war to make trillionaires out of billionaires
DeleteYes that is about the size of it. To think millions and billions made on death and suffering brings me to the conclusions to not want to be like or worship the trillionaires and billionaires but to see them fully as a part of the problem. Again the lesson of Universal Solider comes to mind for all of us so it is not just them but us all.
