Trump now wants a battleship named after him!

Now he wants a new series of deadly warships named after him. In one way that is proper as he is a deadly person to many. Here is the start of an essay I am preparing, "The most lethal warships to ever be built and the Biggest, the Bravest, the Boldest, the Best lacks any moral authority. Oh, these sins of Caesar’s men. Amazing, really, when you come right down to it as those in power celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace and those with no power are taken for a ride. Our rebellion should never be a smorgasbord, folks."
ReplyDeleteSo what does our rebellion should never be a smorgasbord folks? Can we pick and chose what we like or dislike of what comes out of a authoritarian ruler and his followers. Will the fear of China, Russia or whomever overtake us and as long as the bombs drop somewhere else we are ok with our hundreds of flavors of jelly. From Mary's song we hear this, "He has scattered the proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up the humble. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty." Now as we wait for the words to become action let us sort out what can be possible in the new world, the things that will not bring mold of the old with us. There are over 771,480 homeless people in this country I am sure we can gather some ideas from them.
