Have you noticed that all the popular dogs are pure breeds? And we look down at mix breed dogs, we call them “Junkyard Dogs,” “Mutts,” and “Mongrels.” We look down at dogs that were "loose women” and roamed the “back alleys” looking for love?

Insurance is more for people who own certain pure breeds** and mix breed dogs are more, they say that they are more aggressive than other breeds.
Most of the rescue dogs are mixed breeds, we tend to throw them away, while pure breed dogs are looked on as an investment. If you have the papers on a dog you can breed them for money, but a mutt… forget it. No one wants to pay for a mutt.

** I don’t think that it is the dog breeds that causes aggression but rather certain types of individuals buy Dobermans, Pit Bulls and other breeds that are labeled aggressive by the insurance company. I think that certain breeds that people buy fit their owner's “Macho” personalities.
The only dog I can see Putin with is a Tibetan Mastiff. Or, barring that breed, an Akita. Lol Great post and Question!
