With a threat of sleet or rain in the air, but about a hundred people came out to rally for Trans Rights.
Yesterday in front of the Connecticut Supreme Court about a hundred trans people and allies gather to support trans youth. The rally was in protest of the Gavin Grimm v. Gloucester County School Board being sent back to the lower courts.
The rally was organized by students with some help from GLSEN, and the ACLU and they did a great job, all but two of the speakers were students. They spoke from the heart and some of them were very emotional.
I was amazed that some many people braved the weather forecast and came out. It was in the upper thirties and very windy After the rally I had to count my toes and check to see if my nose was still there.
