Saturday 9: Good Morning, Heartache

Crazy Sam’ Saturday 9: Good Morning, Heartache

1) Do you come up with your brightest ideas early in the morning or late at night?
Well it depends on what you consider 3:00AM, is it late night or early morning.

2) Are you more likely to feel romantic at night or in the morning?
At night.

3) Do you shower in the morning, after work or before bed?
Well when I worked I showered before went to work, but now that I’m retired it is when I’m planning on going out.

4) Billie Holiday was just 44 when she died. Is there an artist whose early demise surprised and saddened you?
Karen Carpenter, she had such a beautiful voice.

5) Billie was known as "Lady Day." Do you have a cool nickname? (If not, feel free to give yourself one right now.)
Some of my friends call me Di

6) When was the last time you had the blues?
Pick a day, any day and sometime during the day I had the blues.

7) Crazy Sam is eating Trader Joe's Snickerdoodles as she composes this. What's the last snack food you ate?
Cheese or Jalapeño poppers, they are both low carb.

8) Do you worry about preserving endangered species? Or do you believe in survival of the fittest?

Yes, I want to save the timber rattler and copper head snakes here in Connecticut. They help keep down the rodent population.

9) Would you ever hire a lawyer who runs commercials on TV? Do you know anyone who has?
Nope, I know other lawyer I would hire first or ask them for recommendations

  1. I did forget Karen Carpenter, she was really a shock for me. It made me more aware of teen girls eating disorders. I had a daughter who fooled around with Bulimia, but apparently not addicted to it.

  2. Good for you on saving the snakes! I admit I worry more about cute, majestic or exotic animals. But losing those reptiles would be a wallop to the environment.

  3. I love that you included the video for Lady Sings the Blues....such a timeless voice had she...

  4. Oh, I forgot all about Karen Carpenter. Their Christmas album is one of my favorites. And you know how much I love Christmas!

  5. My thoughts on 3 am: if you are still up, it's late night, but if you've slept already, it's morning.

  6. My parents use to get those copperheads in their garage in Fla all the time. You think it's a hose until you get close to it.
Karen Carpenter was so sad. You gotta wonder if anyone learned from it.

Have a great rest of your weekend Diana!Oh, and the election was too stressful for me too- even though it would come out positive for us.
