Staycation

I'm heading down to Mystic Seaport this morning on a staycation, i meeting four friends and we are going to walk around the seaport and attend the carol sing.

The seaport is a recreation of a typical 1800s whaling port and it has a number of wooden sailing ship some of which still are in use. There is also a recreated 1800s village with shipwrights where they are restoring old sailing ships.

I have always wanted to visit and today you can get in free when you bring non-perishable food. I plan on taking a lot of pictures that I will post on Thursday.
