It Is Our Right To Discriminate!

That is what the Republican Attorney Generals what to do, discriminate against us in the school meal programs. They want to deny us breakfasts and lunches at school!

More than 20 Republican attorneys general filed a lawsuit Tuesday against President Joe Biden’s administration over a Department of Agriculture school meal program that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

The challenge, led by Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery, claims that the federal government is attempting to force states and schools to follow antidiscrimination requirements that “misconstrue the law.”

The coalition of attorneys general are hoping for a similar result to a separate challenge from earlier this month when a Tennessee judge temporarily barred two federal agencies from enforcing directives issued by Biden’s administration that extended protections for LGBTQ people in schools and workplaces.

The judge sided with the attorneys general, ruling that the directives infringed on states’ right to enact laws, such as banning students from participating in sports based on their gender identity or requiring schools and businesses to provide bathrooms and showers to accommodate transgender people.

“This case is, yet again, about a federal agency trying to change law, which is Congress’ exclusive prerogative,” Slatery said in a statement. “The USDA simply does not have that authority. We have successfully challenged the Biden Administration’s other attempts to rewrite law and we will challenge this as well.”

Isn’t funny that they have no problem with passing federal laws banning abortion but when it comes to LGBTQ laws and executive orders their cry is “states rights!”

According to the lawsuit, the attorneys general allege that the USDA’s new directive is based on a “misreading” of the Supreme Court’s ruling and did not provide states and other groups the opportunity to provide public comment.

I thought it was pretty clear, that “sex” also includes gender, not only in the last ruling in the case of R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes Inc. v. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where the judges said in part,

“Discrimination on the basis of homosexuality or transgender status requires an employer to intentionally treat employees differently because of their sex—the very practice Title VII prohibits in all manifestations.”

The states that involved in the lawsuit against the USA are,

The attorneys general involved in the lawsuit filed Tuesday are from Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and West Virginia.

Gee did you happen to notice that they are all Republican controlled?

Meanwhile, college students also want the right to discriminate, they don’t want no education in diversity or inclusion! We don't need no thought control!*

Some universities across America are requiring compliance from faculty in the form of signed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) statements, as conditions for tenure or promotion — arguing that DEI across college campuses is a top priority.

However, there may be growing pushback in some areas from faculty as well as from parents — who claim that the DEI agenda actually challenges the diversity of viewpoints and opinions of students within the college environment.

Some say it also promotes a culture of fear and intimidation.

In the city of Seattle, for example, roughly 40 percent of the University of Washington's faculty recently rejected — or abstained from voting on — a measure that would have required faculty members seeking advancement to provide a statement demonstrating their support of DEI.
The Fox article goes on to compare diversity training to the Communist,
"One political viewpoint is being pushed very hard by the administration and by a number of others," said Mass, who is also a meteorologist.

To him, he added, "diversity statements" appear very much like "the anti-communist loyalty oaths of the late 1940s and early 1050s."
Students who hold even moderate viewpoints are often afraid to express themselves, he said.

"Requiring all faculty members to support a social/political agenda favored by one segment of society not only politicizes the university, but represents ‘compelled speech,’" he noted recently in a blog post.

It's "a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution at a public university," he added.
Hold it right there!

First, diversity training does not tell you how to think! You can think anything you want, you can say anything you want what diversity training does is it teaches that it illegal to discriminate!

It makes you aware that giving a lower grade to a Black student and higher grade to a White student for the same work is illegal. It makes you aware that never calling on a trans student in class is illegal. And it does not violate the First Amendment.

It doesn’t make being an a**hole illegal but it do make picking on students because they are trans or  Latinx illegal.
She said that "DEI proponents (and their allies) use linguistic gymnastics to change the very meaning of words, in order to manipulate the masses into believing propaganda."

"We collectively understand the word 'diversity' to include respectful debate of diverse opinions, open and honest discussion, respect for others, even when we disagree."

[…]

"Their definition of ‘diversity' is twisted and is the exact opposite of our understanding," she said. "Their ‘diversity’ accepts only their group-think opinions, their stifling of true debate, their silencing of diverse ideas and their tyrannical control of all content."
It is they who are twisting words, it doesn’t stifle debate but rather it curbs behavior. You can think all the vile thoughts you want but when you act upon those thoughts you have crossed the line.
We can disagree and still love each other, unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist
