Today

I went up to the “Vote No” rally on the Capital south lawn today; we had a crowd of about hundred people. The opposition had a crowd of about ten times our size on the north side of the Capital. However, that was to be expected, they got up on their pulpits to tell their congregations to go on a holy mission to stop the homosexuals from gaining equality. They came by the busloads to answer the call of the jihad, one coach after another pulled in to discharge the crusaders. And they came by the van load that had the names of their church on the sides of the vans: the First Church of Christ, the Baptists, The Assembly of God and on and on it went. Rallying the crusaders on their holy war to amend the state Constitution to prevent those inferno Gays and Lesbian from marrying.

While we were wrapping up our rally, a man came up to the microphone and started to speak. He was quoting the Bible about homosexual sinners and he only left when the Capital police escorted him away. Something like that happen at the Marriage Equality rally a couple of years ago, someone left a bottle filled with liquid on the Capital steps and they had to call in the bomb squad. They arrested two kids from the anti-marriage rally that was being held on the other side of the Capital who came over to our side and left a bottle of holy water.
