Connecticut will win the freedom to marry!
My question is, was politics involved in the decision being announced today after a year and a half since the Supreme Court heard the arguments.
On the ballot, this year is a question about a Constitutional Convention, “Shall there be a constitutional convention to amend or revise the Constitution of the State?” Was it timed to influence the elections?
UPDATE: the Connecticut Supreme Court came out in favor of the plaintiffs.
Diana,
ReplyDeleteWe may never know if politics was involved in the timing -- I, for one, cvertainly hope not. For now, I'm just busy crossing my fingers!
