The Hillby Sarah Fortinsky09/17/25President Trump’s approval rating dropped to its lowest level of his second term in the YouGov/Economist poll released Tuesday.In the weekly survey, conducted this past weekend, 39 percent of surveyed Americans approve of Trump’s handling of the presidency, down from the 41 percent recorded over the last three weeks and 40 percent recorded in mid-August.In the latest survey, 57 percent of Americans disapprove of the president’s handling of his post, also a record for his second term.
Trump is drowning in the polls, and like a cornered animal that is when they are at their most dangerous!
I worry that he will lash out at us to improve his polling numbers like he said...
The choice is being championed by the Heritage Foundation, which is behind Project 2025.ThemBy Abby MonteilSeptember 19, 2025The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reportedly preparing to categorize transgender people as “violent extremists,” a categorization supported by organizations affiliated with Project 2025.According to a September 18 report by independent journalist Ken Klippenstein, two anonymous national security officials said that the Bureau is discussing treating trans subjects as a subset of its new threat category, “Nihilistic Violent Extremists” (NVEs), which was created earlier this year. The Bureau defines “Nihilistic Violent Extremism” as “criminal conduct… in furtherance of political, social, or religious goals that derive primarily from a hatred of society at large and a desire to bring about its collapse by sowing indiscriminate chaos.”
So what's next... round us up and put us into concentration camps?
Officials said that such a classification would give the Trump administration “political (and media) cover” as they escalate their anti-trans campaign in the aftermath of right-wing pundit Charlie Kirk’s death.“They are cynically targeting trans people because the shooter’s lover was trans,” an unnamed senior intelligence official told Klippenstein. “The administration has convinced itself that the Charlie Kirk murder exposes some dark conspiracy.”
And the Republican in Congress are complicit by not acting to curb Trump, instead they are more worried that trump will axe their reelections.
Despite no evidence linking an alleged trans roommate to Robinson’s motivation for shooting Kirk, right-wingers are nevertheless attempting to use this detail to push an anti-trans agenda. In a petition launched on Thursday, the Heritage Foundation — the far-right think tank behind the derided and controversial Project 2025 — and its spin-off group, the Oversight Project, asked the FBI to designate “Transgender Ideology-Inspired Violent Extremism” (TIVE) as a domestic terrorism threat category.
It is like they were just waiting with game book for a trigger incident!
With his numbers in the polls what will Trump do as a distraction?
I am sure the FBI knows the actual number of violent crimes committed by trans-people and it is minimal. How many violent crimes have been committed against transmen and transwomen? Publish those figures. Also, from the minimal indepth reporting of violence by or in support of trans-people, how many of those instances were in response to those people being oppressed by people close to them or constantly berated for who they are. How many fathers and mothers toss out their own children when the child reveals they are trans or gay or lesbian?
