Lies, Lies, And More Lies!

That is all that is coming out of the White House, Trump is a pathologically liar. He does not know how to tell the truth. The lies he spreads about children going to school as a boy and coming home a girl such lies serves a strategic political purpose: it creates fear and anger in their base that feels threatened by social change, especially regarding LGBTQ+ rights to fuel culture war flashpoints.

White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller laid out the Trump administration's opposition to pushing transgender ideology on minors, describing it as "child abuse" during a press briefing at the White House on Thursday.

Miller said the U.S. Department of Justice is working with state and local law enforcement to push back against the ideology in the public school systems.

"It is child abuse to change a child's gender, particularly if you do not inform the parents," Miller said. "In other words, if a 5-year-old or a 6-year-old goes to school ... and the teacher turns, tries to turn the boy into a girl or the girl into a boy, that is child abuse. And this administration is treating that as child abuse, and it is a gross violation of parental rights."

The administration opposes tax dollars going to hospitals to perform transgender surgeries on children, which Miller likened to "child torture."

"The administration's message to our hospital systems [is] that they cannot and will not be allowed to use taxpayer dollars to perform chemical castrations and sexual mutilations of children," he said.

Notice the language he uses in his lies "child torture." "chemical castrations", and "sexual mutilations" word that are designed to create anger along with their lies. LGBTQ Nation writes that,

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) shared a clip of Miller’s words on X and added that “Sex change operations on children are barbaric child abuse.” Gender-affirming genital surgery is not performed on transgender minors in the U.S.

The idea that schools and teachers are turning kids transgender behind their parents’ backs has been an urban legend shared online by the right for the past several years, even though it’s not happening. Usually, conservatives are referring to cases where adolescent trans students confide in their teachers about their identities and the teachers don’t out them to their parents, something many conservatives confuse with teachers forcing students to be trans.

Conservatives haven’t come up with any cases of this happening. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) once claimed that a school had turned a kid transgender behind their parents’ backs, but local reporters found that the parents had actually been emailing with the school and encouraged the school to apply its transgender student policy to their child.
