It’s Coming!

What’s coming? The new U.S. Transgender Survey!
With almost 28,000 respondents, the U.S. Trans Survey (USTS) is the largest survey ever devoted to the lives and experiences of trans people. The staff of the National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) and the rest of the USTS team are thrilled to invite you to watch the launch event for the survey report on Thursday, December 8, 2016, 1-2 p.m. Eastern Time.
I will be blogging about it tomorrow morning.

Today is another busy day.

This morning I am at a Community Research Alliance meeting. Our mission statement is…
The CRA is an alliance of CBOs [Community Based Organization] and academic or other research partners that engages communities and organizations in equitable relationships to conduct research and associated activities that address and resolve health related disparities.
At the meeting I am representing CTAC to make sure that the trans community is included in research projects.

In the afternoon I will be once again at UConn School of Medicine for a panel discussion with the 2nd med students. But my day is not done, in the evening I am heading up to Springfield for the uniTy meeting.
