Saturday Six #531

Patrick’s Place Saturday Six #531

1. W is for WAFFLE: Have you ever had the dish Chicken and Waffles? Love it or hate it?
Nope, never heard of it.

2. W is for WAGE: Do you think minimum wage should be raised to $15/hour nationally, and if it happened, do you think people would lose jobs because of it?
Yes, and I don’t think people will lose their jobs because of it. If they cut back on their work force that would mean they were over staffed which I don’t think is the case, the price might go up because I don’t think the owner will take a cut in profits. I think it should be nationally because otherwise the states will be competing with each other, if it goes up nationally then the playing field would be level.

3. W is for WAITING: You’re sitting in a waiting room for some appointment and you see a stack of magazines: which magazine do you hope will be in the stack to keep you entertained?
National Geographic or a photo magazine.

4. W is for WAIST: Is your waist size bigger, smaller, or the same as it was one year ago today?
Ha! You have to be kidding, I think most of us are seeing an increasing waistline.

5. W is for WAR: Do you believe that there is never a valid reason for war or that there are times when war may be the only option remaining?
I believe that there are times when war is justified, but I think the problem is that war is being micromanaged by the politicians. You have to go to war all out and commit the resources that are necessary to win.

6. W is for WAYWISER: What is the longest distance you’ve traveled at one time?
Back when we were in our twenties, we drove 32 hours stopping just for pit stops. We went from Connecticut to North Dakota and the driver only fell asleep while driving once.
